What Is Digital Marketing? And How Does It Work?

Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Digital marketing is one of those terms that’s shrouded in confusion and seems to mean something different to everyone. It’s also been made to seem way more complicated than it actually is, which is a shame really, as it’s really pretty straightforward. So what is digital marketing? Well, as simple as this is gonna sound, digital marketing is just marketing, using digital tools. And marketing is nothing more than communicating value to your customers. So, digital marketing is therefore communicating value to your customers using digital tools. That’s it. Traditional VS Digital Marketing The first thing to do is understand the difference between traditional, and digital marketing. Traditional marketing relies on tools and mediums like the newspaper, radio, TV, magazine, billboards, direct mail, and any form of print really. Digital on the other hand is made up of tools like search engine marketing, social media, content marketing like blogging, articles, or video creation, email marketing, and online pay per clicks advertising. When you’re talking about traditional versus digital marketing, you’re talking about the tools more than the strategy behind them. And more accurately, you’re talking about which form of media you’re going to use to communicate your message on, a traditional one, or a digital one? The Future Of Digital Marketing As consumer media consumption trends continue to shift dramatically away from traditional and towards more and more digital content, there will be a time in the near future where we no longer refer to it as digital marketing and simply call it what it is. Marketing. #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

Digital Marketing Basics – Basic marketing techniques to grow your business | Modern Marketing Ep 7

Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Digital marketing (aka online marketing or sometimes even internet marketing) can be tricky, especially without a solid digital marketing strategy. Which is why on this episode we’re talking about the ever important, digital marketing basics, basic marketing techniques to grow your business. Without a solid foundation rooted in digital marketing strategy all the marketing tools & tips to grow your business just won’t work. Whether it’s social media, SEO, email marketing, or online advertising, the way to make your digital marketing campaigns truly effective is to first start with a solid foundation rooted in the fundamentals. A little bit of marketing research done ahead of time can literally save you thousands (for big campaigns even hundreds of thousands) of dollars and days, weeks, months, even years of your precious time. So what exactly are the basic digital marketing strategies I'm talking about? STEP 1: Define your target market This step really can’t be overstated. In fact, it really doesn’t matter whether we’re talking traditional or digital marketing, the same concept applies in that you NEED to first identify who it is you’re trying to reach. This is because only from here can you decide what to say, how to say it, and where to say it. The better you understand your target market and their dreams and fears the better and more effective your marketing will be. Step 2: Use native content If you want to look like an amateur entrepreneur then simply create a piece of content and blast it out across all 15 different social media networks you use. Sure, there’s a time and a place for syndicating and sharing content (we’re all busy and it saves a lot of time when done right) but you also want to be respectful of the platforms, and more importantly, of the viewers and users of that platform. So when you can, try to make your content looks like it was made for the channel, and that it belongs there. Step 3: Track everything Measure your marketing metrics! The first step here is to know your KPI’s or key performance indicators so you can track what’s working and what’s not. From there, start slow, and focus on just 1 or 2 key things and you’ll quickly be able to tell if your marketing is working (in which case you should scale it up!) or not working (in which case you may want to tweak or delete it) Whether you’re doing it on your own or working with an agency, knowing a thing or two about the basics is always a good plan! ► Download your free copy of The One Page Business Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

What Is A Marketing Funnel?

04:27
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Marketing Funnels are one of the hottest topics in the world of business and marketing right now and for good reason. But what exactly is a marketing funnel, and more importantly, how can you harness the power of this incredible tool in your business to generate more leads and sales? So What exactly Is A Marketing Funnel? Well, A marketing funnel sometimes called a sales funnel, conversion funnel, or just plain old funnel, is a system that allows you to track the customer journey from having no idea who you are right through to becoming a lifelong loyal customer, and every step in-between. # The Elevation Marketing Process My suggestion is to use something along the lines of The Elevation Marketing Process which goes: Traffic – Conversion – Ascension – Elevation 1. Traffic Step 1 is to identify where your prospective customers (let’s call them leads) are coming from. Are they finding you through social media, a search engine, or a paid ad you’re running. Once you’ve identified your traffic sources you can start to compare and pit them against one another. And may the strongest traffic source win! As a side note, these leads who have never heard about you or your business before are called “cold” 2. Conversion Once your lead has arrived at your website, store front, or landing page, the next step is to get them to make a micro-commitment and take some form of action. If you’re selling a low priced item (like a pack of gum) than that action could be a sale. If you’re selling a higher priced item (like a car) than that micro-commitment could be a smaller action (like going for a test drive). The point here is that you want to encourage them to take the next logical step in the relationship, whether it’s exchanging their contact information like their name, email, or phone number, or even agreeing to a follow up meeting. At this stage your lead is now “warm” 3. Ascension Alright, at this point in the funnel you’re going to be working with fewer leads than you started with. But that’s ok! Because those that are still with you are a higher quality lead, and are more interested in what you have to offer. They’ve also taken some form of action or micro-commitment and are a lot more open to what you have to offer next. It’s at this stage that you want to begin the follow-up process and really bring the value. Continue to nurture your leads by providing more valuable and helpful information but at the same time, don’t be afraid to ask for the sale. If you’ve done a good job at guiding them along their journey up until this point the next logical step should be your core offer, product, or service. When your “warm” lead buys and exchanges their money for your product or service they become “hot”. 4. Elevation It’s now time to really bring on the value and elevate your relationship with your customers. Following up with your recent buyers is one of the fastest ways to solidify your position as a business that truly cares. Buyers remorse is very real, and is alive and well across all markets and industries, so the first 24-48 hours after making a purchase is a critical time to calm any anxieties and affirm your new customers decision to do business with your company. It’s also unexpected. Which makes it an even nicer surprise, and part of the system to turn elevate your customers into brand evangelists who tell their friends, family, coworkers, and sometimes even strangers, about just how great your business is. #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

Digital Marketing Analytics – Why It Is Important To Understand Your Metrics

04:19
Are you tired of not being able to track your digital marketing results? And do you wish there was an easy way to quickly figure out what’s working, and what’s not, so you didn’t waste your time and money on ineffective marketing tactics? If so, then you’re in the right place, as on this episode we’re going be diving in head first to take on the mistakenly overly complicated world of digital marketing analytics, so you can quickly learn what you need to watch and measure, and what you can leave behind. The truth behind digital marketing analytics is that they can be as simple or as complicated as you want them to be. So here are 5 easy to use and easy understand digital marketing metrics that you can start tracking today. 1: Website Visitors The easiest place to start is by taking a look at your website traffic and it’s number of visitors. While this is somewhat of a vanity metric, meaning that it may not directly relate to the bottom line, it is helpful in measuring and tracking how many people are visiting your businesses virtual store front. 2: Bounce Rate Your bounce rate is the number of people who visit your site and then quickly leave, or bounce off. Here is where we want to see a low number, as this means that people are sticking around and having more of a look through your content. 3: Number Of Email Subscribers Just like with website visitors, you want to see a steady increase of email subscribers over time. It doesn’t matter what business you’re in, the odds are good that you could benefit by using an email marketing strategy. 4: Click Through Rate (CTR) Your click through rate refers to how many people took action and clicked on one of your posts or advertisements. CTR is a valuable metric to watch anytime you’re creating an ad for any of the social or search engine platforms, as a high click through rate means that what your ad is saying is relevant and interesting enough for someone to want to click and learn more. 5: Lifetime Customer Value Lifetime customer value can be one of the most challenging, but also one of the most valuable metrics to watch and track. While there are a number of pretty fancy and expensive software tools and services out there that can help, even having a rough, general idea of the lifetime value of a customer to your business is still beneficial to your digital marketing campaigns. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

How To Write Great Content – Content Marketing For Your Blog, Website, Or Ads

05:19
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Content marketing is one of the most effective, cost-efficient, and all around best marketing strategies to drive leads and sales. But the key with content marketing is understanding that your results are directly tied to the quality of your content. So in this video I’m going to cover 5 easy to follow tips for writing great content. Tip 1: Keep It Clear, Concise, and Focused The most important thing you can do for your content is to keep it on point. Your potential customer found this content for a reason, whether through a search engine, or spotting a link that caught their attention. Their goal is to learn more about the subject you’ve headlined and you owe it to them to provide it. Tip 2: Edit, Edit, Edit Hammering out a 2,000 word article and hitting submit just shouldn’t happen. Even Hemingway was well known for disliking his initial drafts. Break up your editing into phases. Tip 3: Make the Content Actionable Talking about your success is fine, but what your customers really want to know is how they can do it too. By creating actionable content, you’re giving your audience things they can try immediately. Tip 4: Add Images Images can take a decent post and make it great. The key to shareable content is to find relatable graphics. Using stock photos for the sole purpose of using images may look better than a completely text-based piece of content, but it’s pointless if it doesn’t benefit the reader. According to Forbes, articles with images get 94% more views than articles without. That’s too large of a percentage to pass up on. Tip 5: Provide Answers No one wants to finish an article with more questions than they arrived with. Again, people are consuming your content for a reason. Remember that with your headline, you’ve made a promise to answer their question, so you need to be sure your content provides the answers they were looking for. Conclusion These tips may sound simple but that’s because they are. Writing great content isn’t reserved for the Shakespeares and Tolstoys of our generation. It’s attainable to anyone who focuses on the basics and can get pen to paper, or hands to keyboard. ► Download your free copy of "The Fast Content Formula" here: FAST Content Formula : https://bit.ly/2JEu5kz ***FREE Marketing Resources YouTube Subscribe Link: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Facebook Ad Image Guide : https://bit.ly/2H9EPt9 FAST Content Formula : https://bit.ly/2JEu5kz 60 Second Video Ad Script : https://bit.ly/2GQF0Kl One Page Marketing Plan : https://bit.ly/2v6HPBp ***My Marketing Toolkit My Computer : https://amzn.to/2v5BXZi My Email Marketing Software: https://bit.ly/2qEmhHX My Landing Page Software : https://bit.ly/2v5g1xw My Website Hosting Software : https://bit.ly/2JCRJ13 Conversion Boosting Tool : https://bit.ly/2qrdCby My Speed Learning Secret : https://amzn.to/2JEm938 ***My Video Gear My MAIN Camera : https://amzn.to/2GRxu1R My Backup Camera : https://amzn.to/2qq9nMx My MAIN Lens : https://amzn.to/2Hxgqvi The Second Fave Lens : https://amzn.to/2IKrxjK My MAIN Mic : https://amzn.to/2IOksP1 My Fave Tripod : https://amzn.to/2quJewr My DRONE : https://amzn.to/2v4wEcx My Drone Filters : https://amzn.to/2IKz1mW ***FOLLOW ME: Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adamerhart

How To Do Market Research – Basic Online Market Research For Your Business

05:21
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF How great would it be to know what your customers wanted before they even asked for it? Can you imaging what it would do for your business and your reputation to always have a collection of highly sought after products or services? You’d quickly become the go-to expert in your field and customers would know they could count on you to solve their problems quickly and easily. And that’s why on this episode of we’re talking all about market research, and I’ll give you 5 ways to know what your customers want before they even do. #1 Google Trends Google trends allows you to track which keywords are increasing in popularity and provides suggestions for other terms that are rising in search volume. This is a hugely valuable tool and for the most part is largely ignored, which means that by using it you’re gaining valuable insights that your competitors are likely not using. #2 Google Keyword Planner To use the keyword planner you first need to sign up for a free Google Adwords account. Even if you’re not planning on advertising it’s still a good thing to have. From there you can access their free Keyword Planner, type in a keyword and receive not only the number of searches for that keyword, but also a list of suggested keywords that people are looking for online each and every month. #3 Facebook Insights The best way to use Facebook Insights is to post a variety of different content to your business page (all related to your business of course) and see which posts get the most engagement (such as likes, shares, and comments). From there you can determine what type of content your audience is most interested in so you can start to create more just like it, and eventually, products and services around those subjects. #4 Twitter Insights Twitter audiences allow you to really drill down on the types of things your customers and followers are interested in. As an example, for my account I can see that my audience is made up mostly of people interested in entrepreneurship, marketing, travel, and technology. #5 Google Alerts The final piece of our customer understanding puzzle comes again from the search engine giant, Google. Google Alerts allows you to monitor what’s happening with your customers right now. The way to use Google Alerts is to enter a keyword that you would like to track into the search bar at the top of the page, then Google will email you when this keyword appears online. You can use this to track your businesses name, the industry you’re in, your own name, your competitors, or pretty much anything else you can think of. Customer Insights Using even one of these tools can help you gain a better understanding of your customers. But when you combine all 5, you’re really able to create a clear and compelling picture of your customers wants, needs, and behaviors. And the better you understand them, the better you’re able to come up with value providing services and solutions to their problems. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

How To Get More Clients – Get More Customers And Clients For Your Business

04:44
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Why do some businesses seem to have a never ending supply of customers and clients while others struggle to find their next lead? Why are some people able to command premium pricing while others struggle just to get by? And can you imagine just how much better, easier, and more profitable your business would be if you could generate clients and customers on demand? While it may sound too good to be true, millions of people are doing this every single day, and you can too. So in this video we’re going to cover a simple 7 step process so you can start generating more clients and more customers. Step 1: Have a plan If you want a steady and consistent stream of new leads coming into your business you’re going to need to have a plan. Sure there are some tactics and techniques you can use to immediately start bringing in new leads, but for long term and sustainable growth, nothing beats having a well thought out plan. Step 2: Define your ideal client or customer Step 2 is accurately defining your ideal customer. The more accurate you’re able to define them, the better you’ll be able to create meaningful marketing messages that resonate with them. Step 3: Locate them (online and offline) Now that you’ve defined your ideal target market, it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to be able to find them, both online and offline. Not in a creepy stalker way, but in a way that allows you to better deliver your message to them. For example, offline it could be local clubs, recreation facilities, restaurants or coffee shops, or retail stores. Online, it could be a specific social media network like Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, or on a website or forum that they’re interested in. Step 4: Be different (in a good way) Now that you’ve identified your ideal customer or client, and found where they hang out, it’s time to work on getting your message heard above the noise, and this is where the marketing term “differentiation” comes into play. Step 5: Provide value upfront A great way to alleviate any fears or uncertainty your potential clients may have is to constantly be working on providing value up front. If you want a steady and consistent supply of new leads, you need to be providing a steady and consistent supply of value. Step 6: Teach others Step 6 builds off our last point perfectly, as the next step to start generating more clients and customers is to teach. The reason that teaching works so well is that 1, it’s human nature to respect people that each us things. 2, we appreciate that someone took some time out of their day to show us something that could help, and 3, teaching helps prove that you really do know what you’re talking about. Step 7: Become an “Authority” The ultimate inbound marketing strategy is Authority Marketing. When you’re perceived as an authority, expert, or guru in your market or industry, life and business get a whole lot easier. I’ve created a giveaway on Authority Marketing that you can download for free by visiting adamerhart.com/authority which will help get you started on the right foot. #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

How To Create Content Fast - 7 Content Marketing Strategy Tips

06:13
You probably already know about the business boosting, income generating, authority elevating power that content marketing can have on your business. Which means you also probably know that for it to be effective, you have to deliver quality content and you have to do it consistently. I’ve got 7 ways to help you create great content fast without sacrificing time, sanity, or quality.   Anyone can create content. But creating quality content that keeps your audience engaged is a whole different story. Your customers and clients are more selective than ever before in deciding where and who to devote their time and attention to. If you’re committed to growing your business in the long run then you know content marketing is the key, so I’ve got a few ways you can create high quality content faster than you ever thought possible. Create Content Fast Tip #1: Have a Strategy Our good buddy Benjamin Franklin once said “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” This rings true in almost any aspect of marketing, and content is no exception. So before you write that blog post, record that podcast, or script that video, get clear on who your target audience is, what type of content resonates with them and how they prefer to consume it. Create Content Fast Tip #2: Plan Ahead Ask most marketers and they’ll tell you their biggest struggle isn’t creating content, it’s consistently coming up with new topic ideas! Taking the time to plan out a month's worth of content might seem counterproductive. But a content calendar takes much of the guesswork out of the creation process, ultimately allowing you to focus on churning out high quality content much more quickly. Create Content Fast Tip #3: Keep an Idea Bank It happens to all of us. Right as you’re about to fall asleep, you get a stellar idea for a Facebook Live video or topic for a new podcast episode. Half the battle of content creation is coming up with ideas so I suggest having a system in place to shelf that golden nugget for a rainy day. A free tool like Evernote stores and organizes your notes and is both web and mobile friendly. Create Content Fast Tip #4: Focus on One What if I told you one piece of content a week could cover most of your content needs? That’s possible using the power of repurposing. Focus on producing that single content piece with the intention of carving it up, and get more work done in half the time and with half the effort. Create Content Fast Tip #5: Keep it simple Simplifying your message keeps your content consumable and also requires less time to create. Keep your supporting points clear, concise and easy for your audience to follow. Create Content Fast Tip #6: Set a timer We tend to drag our feet when we know there’s time to complete a project. Sometimes, all it takes is a little pressure to produce some seriously valuable gems. Create Content Fast Tip #7: Use The Fast Content Formula This last tip is my personal secret weapon. If you want to discover a way to quickly and easily deploy a high converting and profitable content marketing strategy in your business without the need to spend hours stuck at your desk or staring at the dreaded “blank screen of death” wondering what to write, then I highly encourage you to download your free copy of the Fast Content Formula by visiting adamerhart.com/fast By using the simple strategies found in “The Fast Content Formula”, my clients, students, and myself, are able to create incredibly high quality pieces of content quickly and easily. Branding Strategy (How To Make Your Business More Likeable)

02:45
After years of doing business, studying business, and helping other businesses, one thing has become painfully clear... People like doing business with people, not “businesses”. Which is why on todays episode we’re going to cover how to brand your business to be more likeable, and its easier than you think. No matter what industry, market, or profession you’re in, people like doing business with people, and not “businesses”. Even in the more formal Business-To-Business, or B2B industries, somewhere along the way, it’s going to be a person making the buying decision. No matter how formal or rigid their organizational structure appears from the outside, on the inside, it’s still just a whole bunch of people. So why then do some businesses try to push their corporate identity on their customers, or hide the fact that (heaven forbid) they actually have real people working for them? It’s strange really. And a bit of a branding paradox. “Big and corporate” is no longer synonymous with safe and trusted. Rather, the terms “big and corporate” tend to invoke feelings of being: -Stale -Old -Stodgy -Slow -Out-dated -Irrelevant -Careless -And selfish None of the things you want to be associated with! So what’s the alternative? Well, whether you’re a multi-million dollar corporation, a solopreneur, or an up and coming design firm with 5 employees, you get to decide just how much “you”, you’re going to show the world. The beauty is that the more “you” you show, the more likeable your company becomes. Your customers crave interaction. They crave personalization. And they crave behind the scenes access, and feeling like an insider. The more special you can make your customers feel by sharing, the more they’ll reward you with their loyalty. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

How to Create a Digital Marketing Strategy

04:44
All the fancy new tactics in the world don’t mean much if they’re not based on a solid foundation and well thought out digital marketing strategy. This is because the number of times you post, the social media channels you use, or the content you create are all completely irrelevant if you don’t have the right market, message, and mindset in place. Which is why on today’s episode we’re talking all about setting you up for success by creating an effective digital marketing strategy. 1) Mindset The first step in creating an effective digital marketing strategy comes down to mindset and how you approach your marketing, and your business. I strongly, firmly, almost evangelically believe that your goal as a business owner or entrepreneur is to aim to be the best in your market. Now “best” can mean any number of different things including the fastest, nicest, cleanest, most polite, most beautiful, most fun, or whatever, but you should aim to dominate in at least one of these areas. 2) Market The next step in creating a digital marketing strategy is to clearly identify your target market and ideal customer or client. The better you’re able to describe exactly who it is you’re trying to serve the more effective all of your future marketing efforts will be. 3) Message As we just covered, the better you understand your target market the better you’ll be able to make them feel understood. And that’s what marketing is all about. Making your ideal customer or client feel heard, valued, and cared for. 4) Media Without a doubt, choosing the right media option is the area I see business owners and entrepreneurs struggle with most. And understandably too. After all, there are an overwhelming amount of options to choose from when trying to decide how to connect with customers and effectively communicate your value online. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

Marketing Design (Why Great Marketing Needs Great Design)

Some of the best stores, products, books, and services I’ve ever used have been quite simply, downright ugly. They were packed full of content and provided value far beyond their cost, and in many cases even provided a huge benefit to my life and business. Sadly however, to this day the vast majority of them remain undiscovered, or are still completely ignored because they all lacked one crucial marketing element. The element of design. And that’s why on today’s episode, we’re talking all about why great marketing, needs great design. So Why Does Design Matter? Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF On today’s episode we’re talking all about Facebook advertising, and I’m sharing 5 of my absolute best tips and tricks that have been responsible for generating millions and millions of dollars in my client’s campaigns... Before we dive into the tips and tricks, it’s important that you understand the reason these things are so effective is because they’re routed in strategy and basic marketing principles and fundamentals. That means that what we are going to cover is not only going to apply to your Facebook advertising, but also any YouTube ads, or to email marketing, or to any other pay-per-click, or direct response, or even content marketing…because the strategies and principles are all grounded in really solid research, and the way that humans make buying decisions. So, I just got back from a trip to a little town called Julian in California, which is about an hour/hour and a half outside of downtown San Diego. Now in Julian they’re famous for a couple different pie shops and we ended up at Apple Alley, where the lineup was out the door, and it took a really long time to get a piece of pie, but that’s part of the marketing, and the pie was absolutely phenomenal. In fact, some of the best apple pie I’ve ever had, but the reason that we ended up choosing this one was because, not only did it have a ton of reviews, and there was a ton of people talking about how good it was, but also that line-up out the door signified that this place was worth waiting for. That is the power of social proof, and one of the key things that you’ll want to leverage in your Facebook advertising. Basically, the principle of social proof says that what other people like, you’re probably going to like too. In the case of a Facebook ad, what this means is you want to create one ad ideally, and leverage the social proof anytime you’re creating new ad sets or new campaigns, by going to the page post and using that ad rather than creating new ads from scratch. And that’s going to lead us nicely into point number 2: When you’re creating your Facebook ads, you’re going to want to increase the engagement on that ad. Not only to others looking at the ad that “this is worth interacting with”, but also to Facebook. Right now, Facebook is prioritizing engagement on their ads. They want to see people engaging with the content, sharing it, liking it, writing comments, and having a conversation, which will keep people on the Facebook platform as long as possible, which is going to help Facebook, and they will show your ad to more people for less money. Next, the way to do this is to write your ad in a casual and really conversational way. The best way to write conversational ad copy is to have a conversation. Have a friend ask you questions about your business and record the answers on your phone, then transcribe it, and you’ve got the basis for some pretty good copy. Tell a story if you can, make it relatable, and don’t be afraid to include some emotion into the ad copy. The next thing we need to do is focus in on our targeting, and who we’re trying to put this perfect ad in front of. That comes down to leveraging look-alike audiences. All a look-alike audience is, is a customer/client list, or traffic from your website or email list, uploading that to Facebook, and then telling Facebook to go out there and find you more people just like that. The final piece of the puzzle is finding the perfect image for your ad. So when you’re trying to find that perfect image, You want to make sure that it captures attention, but it also tells a story. If you need a bit of help finding the perfect image for your Facebook ad, I’ve put together a free guide, which you can download at AdamErhart.com/FBImage, Alright, let’s recap. Number one, you want to make sure to leverage social proof whenever possible, by using the same ad across all of your different ad campaigns and ad sets. Next, you want to do everything you can to increase engagement, because engagement is what tells Facebook that this ad is really valuable, people are liking seeing it, and they’re going to interact with the content. Next, you want to remember to write your ad with a conversational tone. Next, you want to do everything in your power to quickly build up, and then leverage look-alike audiences. If you enjoyed the video, make sure to give it a thumbs up, and if you want more content like this, be sure to subscribe to the channel. Also, make sure to tell me in the comments below which tip you’re going to deploy first in your Facebook ad campaigns. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart

Content Marketing Strategy - The Power Of Consistent And Quality Content

04:20
No matter what business, market, or industry you’re in, there’s one strategy that time and time again produces serious results and a powerful return on investment. It’s not social media, online advertising, or SEO – those are just tactics. It’s also not Twitter, Google Analytics, or Video – those are just tools. No, the strategy behind these tactics and tools that I’m talking about is a commitment to consistently publish quality content and making creating branded content an important part of your overall promotion strategy. Which is why in today’s video we’re going to be talking all about the power behind a content marketing strategy, and how you can use it in your business. The businesses that make creating and publishing quality content a regular part of their routine are the ones that reap the rewards of: -Improved brand perception -Increased brand awareness -Increased customer acquisition -Thought leadership -Improved search engine rankings -Overall decreased marketing costs -And on and on and on. The benefits far outweigh the work involved and content marketing continues to prove itself as a dominant force to be reckoned with. What Is Content Marketing? Well my definition of content marketing as adapted from the Content Marketing Institute is that: “Content marketing is the strategy of creating and distributing valuable and relevant information to a specific target market with the end goal of driving profitable customer actions.” By this definition, anything you can think of to create for your customers can essentially be called content. These could be things like Blog posts, Articles, White-papers, Videos, Infographics, Podcasts, Webinars, and many more. You get the picture… The point to remember is that content marketing is a 2 part strategy. Creation is Step #1 and Distribution is Step #2 and both are necessary for a content marketing strategy to work. How Much Content Is Enough? While the strategy “more is better” certainly applies here, “more” also takes a lot of time. So the best thing to do is to focus on quality over quantity. If given the choice I would have to choose: Longer and less frequent content Over… Shorter and more frequent content. There are obviously massive exceptions to this rule, but the takeaway point is this: People, social media, and search engines tend to prefer longer form content, which usually provides more value. Also, Once a week posting is a great strategy to shoot for. The most important point is to pick a publishing date, and then stick to it. Compounding Value Just like compound interest, the sooner you start creating content the sooner you’ll start benefiting from the power of compounding value. As you create and build up content over time, you’re building a valuable and powerful asset of knowledge, information, resources, and material, which you can mine and extract from in the future. Once you create content, it’s yours forever. And it works around the clock to build your business. #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

The Importance Of Marketing (And 3 Reasons Some Businesses Avoid It)

03:48
When it comes to starting, building, and growing a wildly profitable, fun, helpful and value providing business nothing is more important than marketing. I know that’s a bold statement, but it’s the truth. Marketing is the single most important element in business success, and a solid strategy should always, always form the foundation of any marketing campaign, tactic, or idea. The reason marketing’s so important is because it doesn’t matter how good your product or service is if nobody knows you exist. And that’s why on today’s episode we’re talking all about the importance of marketing, and 3 biggest reasons some businesses mistakenly avoid it. So why do so many businesses neglect, ignore, or completely write off marketing as a waste of time and money? Well the reason this absolutely terrible business decision happens usually comes down to mistakenly believing 1 of 3 things. 1. It’s too expensive 2. It doesn’t work 3. It’s too complicated So let’s cover quickly cover those 3 myths here so we can solve this problem once and for all. It’s Too Expensive Bad marketing is an expense. Good marketing is an investment that pays you back with a powerful return-on-investment, increased market share, improved brand perception, and better, and happier customers. Many online advertising options are also currently 99% cheaper than traditional methods like TV and allow you to reach the same number of people, or even more! And many forms of marketing are even less expensive than that, or even free. The beauty is that you get to decide which resource you have more of to invest: time or money. If you’re a new bootstrapped startup you can choose less expensive marketing options and choose to spend more of your own time making them work. If you’re an established company with consistent incoming revenue than you can choose throw a little gas on the fire and invest more money in your marketing, and save yourself the time. Effectiveness should take precedence over price, but you can still get started today for absolutely free. It Doesn’t Work Bad marketing doesn’t work. Poorly planned marketing doesn’t work. Marketing without a strategy or system doesn’t work. And just throwing some money out there and seeing what works… usually doesn’t. But good marketing? Good marketing works, and it works great! Good marketing connects business to customers, and customers to businesses. Good marketing answers the question: Does everyone who could buy from you know you exist? Because if they don’t, you need marketing. And if they do and they still aren’t buying, then you need better marketing. At the end of the day it’s not marketing that doesn’t work (that’s like saying _accounting_ doesn’t work) but rather the individual tactics or tools that didn’t deliver the results you were hoping for. The key to avoid this, and to create a winning marketing campaign is to focus on strategy first, tactics second. It’s Too Complicated Like most things, marketing can be made to seem overly complicated. This is largely in part by internet marketing people like myself who get excited by the latest email marketing automation software, social media advertising algorithm change, or cool new webinar system we can study and drool over. Sorry about that. But it doesn’t need to be this way! The reality is that a simple and strategic plan performed consistently over time will deliver incredible results. Simple can work, but the key is in those two important words, strategic and consistent. A simple and strategic plan executed regularly will beat a poorly planned or inconsistently executed strategy all day, every day. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

Marketing Storytelling

04:02
When it comes to getting your message across and connecting with your audience, storytelling is one of the most powerful tools available. So much so that all we need to hear is “Let me tell you a story” and our ears perk up, our guard goes down, and we become more receptive and engaged. And that’s why on today’s episode we’re talking all about marketing storytelling, and I give you my best tips on exactly where to start. Stories sell. And that’s a true story. They build trust, allow you to inject your company values, missions, and services, and capture attention like nothing else. So you want to use them everywhere you can. In his book “Sell With A Story” author Paul Smith wisely suggests that you use stories to introduce yourself and your business, counter and address any objections, add value to your customers, bring otherwise boring data or numbers to life, and so much more. But if you’re brand new to storytelling this can seem like an overwhelming place to start. Which is why I like to suggest 2 simple stories that anyone can tell, and will immediately help improve your marketing capital. The Founder Story and The Client Success Story. The Founder Story There’s something strangely enticing about a story about a person. Not a company. But an actual human being. Why? Because it’s a whole lot easier to relate to the Challenges, Victories, Failures, Fears, Tragedies of another person than to a faceless (dare I say soulless?) corporation. And no matter what business you’re in, the way it started and what it stands for today is likely a very interesting story. Even if it’s simple. Because simple is relatable. And simple can sell. And I’ve seen time and time again that with a little digging and effort you’ll be more than able to pull out a few inspirational nuggets, polish them up, and turn them into pure storytelling gold. The Client Success Story (aka the “Not Boring Case Study”) A client success story is really nothing more than a story around one of your clients or customers using your product or service and getting good results with it. That’s it. Here’s a simple “Client Success Story” framework to help get you started. Number 1: Start with where your customer was before they found you. For example, here’s where you want to introduce their problem and pain. Number 2. Introduce your product/service/solution and whatever it is that you did for them And lastly, Number 3. Show how much happier/better off/less stressed/or more profitable they are now thanks to their work with you. That’s it! What’s Your Story? So what’s your story? How did you end up where you are? Doing what you do? And why do you do it? If you’re up for the challenge, in the comments section below tell me your story in 300 words or less and let me know: What you do, Why you do it, And how you ended up doing what you do. Done! Your very first story! ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

B2B vs B2C Marketing (What Are The Differences?)

B2B vs B2C Marketing (What Are The Differences?) Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF In the red corner we’ve got the overly emotional, benefit driven, impulse-buying, often imitated but never replicated B2C marketing. And in the blue corner we’ve got highly rational but oh-so-boring, features driven, logical and rational, and takes forever to make a decision B2B marketing. Both have a time, and a place, and that time and place is here, and now. Now before we dive into the meat and potatoes about the differences between B2B and B2C marketing we first need to clarify what exactly these things are so we can make sure we’re all operating from the same manual. --- First up, is… B2B: Business to Business. A business that operates by selling its products or services to other businesses. Next we have… B2C: Business to Consumer. A business that operates by selling its products or services directly to consumers. --- I got to know the B2C world first. The business to consumer. This is what most people think of when they think of marketing as it’s usually the ads you see or hear online, on TV, or even on the radio My introduction to B2B marketing however came from one of the worst places to learn about it, a textbook. I remember sitting, staring, and rapidly losing focus on what I was supposed to be reading. Eyes closing slowly, sounds fading into the background, and my textbook becoming my pillow for the next 45 minutes... And that's where this video kicks off... #business #marketing #marketingstrategy *Marketing Resources Work With Me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Facebook Ad Image Guide : https://bit.ly/2H9EPt9 FAST Content Formula : https://bit.ly/2JEu5kz 60 Second Video Ad Script : https://bit.ly/2GQF0Kl One Page Marketing Plan : https://bit.ly/2v6HPBp *My Marketing Toolkit My Computer : https://amzn.to/2v5BXZi My Email Marketing Software: https://bit.ly/2qEmhHX My Landing Page Software : https://bit.ly/2v5g1xw My Website Hosting Software : https://bit.ly/2JCRJ13 Conversion Boosting Tool : https://bit.ly/2qrdCby My Speed Learning Secret : https://amzn.to/2JEm938 *My Video Gear My MAIN Camera : https://amzn.to/2GRxu1R My Backup Camera : https://amzn.to/2qq9nMx My MAIN Lens : https://amzn.to/2Hxgqvi The Second Fave Lens : https://amzn.to/2IKrxjK My MAIN Mic : https://amzn.to/2IOksP1 My Fave Tripod : https://amzn.to/2quJewr My DRONE : https://amzn.to/2v4wEcx Another place to get my DRONE : https://bit.ly/2F3FTJM My Drone Filters : https://amzn.to/2IKz1mW *FOLLOW ME: Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adamerhart

Are Facebook Ads Worth it? (And Do They Work?)

04:02
When it comes to marketing your business online there are no shortage of options available. You can do PPC, SEO, SEM, SMM, CRO, or go “Whole Hog” and do-em-all! And to add to the noise and confusion for every option there are at least a dozen pros and a dozen cons muddying up the water and making a clear decision seem like an impossible task. So it’s no surprise then that one of the most amazing advertising tools available today is still underappreciated and underutilized. And that tool would be… Facebook Ads. Which is why on today’s episode we’re answering the question once and for all, are Facebook ads worth it? (PPC=Pay Per Click, SEO= Search Engine Optimization, SEM=Search Engine Marketing, SMM=Social Media Marketing, CRO=Conversion Rate Optimization) Do Facebook Ads Work? Yes, Facebook ads work. And they work incredibly well. But like most things the devils in the details and for something to work, it needs to be done right. Which means not just simply slapping up an ad, pressing go, and waiting for the dollars to start rolling in. Rather, it means carefully analyzing your target market. Creating a unique and compelling offer. Presenting it in a way that captures attention, piques interest, and inspires action. And doing this all in a fraction of a second as someone is quickly scrolling through their newsfeed. Creating high converting and return on investment deliver Facebook Ads is part art. Part science. But 100% marketing strategy. And at the end of the day when done right Facebook Ads work incredibly well and allow you to reach more people than TV, radio, and newspapers, for a tiny fraction of the cost. Will Facebook Ads Work For Your Business? At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter whether you’re in a business to business (B2B) market or a business to consumer (B2C) market, because who you’re really trying to do business with isn’t a company, but another person. And people use Facebook. For this reason, with very, very few exceptions, perhaps limited to Government contracts or markets with only a few key buyers, Facebook Ads will work for your business, no matter what business you’re in. If you have a product or service that people want, Facebook Ads will help you get more message in front of more of them. Plain and simple. The only way Facebook Ads won’t work for your business is if you’re in a business selling something that nobody wants. Should You Use Facebook Ads In Your Business? This is perhaps the most important question of all. Because if Facebook Ads work (and when used correctly they work for 99% of businesses) then the real key is figuring out how to use them in your business for maximum impact. Facebook Ads in and of themselves aren’t overly technical or complicated but just like with any other marketing tool available today, the key to success should always be strategy first, tactics second. So start with a simple, targeted and well thought out offer and go from there. Facebook Ads are a learning experience in and of themselves but the results and potential rewards are well worth the initial effort! #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

Business Growth Strategy - How To Grow Your Business For Entrepreneurs

04:55
As far as I’m concerned, business growth strategy is one of the most exciting parts of doing business for any entrepreneur. After all, no entrepreneur wants their business to lose market share, get lost in the sea of competitors, and die a slow and painful death. So, what are some business growth strategies that you can apply today to immediately start to scale up your business? Well, here are 9 of my top business growth strategies that you can apply today to immediately start to grow your business. 1. Focus You simply can’t be everything and do everything all at the same time, you need to focus. 2. Leverage Current Assets You can save a lot of time and money by simply looking back at some of the marketing assets you’ve already created. 3. Ask Number 3 is to ask, or in other words survey your current and potential customers. Click here for Ryan Levesque's book: http://amzn.to/24H2xzt 4. Hustle Number 4 is to hustle, but more than hustling, you need to spend a few minutes to get real with yourself and ask, just how hard are you actually trying to grow your business? Are you... * Working longer hours? * Networking with more people? * Creating more content? * Reading more books * Taking more courses? Or are you just going through life, business as usual? 5. Teach If you look around for ways to teach others about what you do, and be sure to make it more about the value that’s provided then about you or your business, you help to position yourself as a giver and an authority on the subject. 6. Give Number 6 is to give and give some more. As Gary Vaynerchuk puts it… “There is no sale without the story; no knockout without the setup.” Click here for Gary Vaynerchuk's book, Jab Jab Jab Right Hook: http://amzn.to/24H2BiS 7. Pay To Play Unlike almost every other form of advertising out there paid traffic allows you to get your message out and in front of people in as little as a few minutes. That means you can go from no traffic, to tens, hundreds, even thousands of visitors in a matter of minutes or hours. 8. Fill Your Pipeline Filling up your pipeline, or your funnel is probably one of the most important parts of business growth. You need to keep a steady and consistent supply of new leads coming in if you ever want to grow. 9. Put Everything Together Number 9 is to put everything we’ve just talked about together into the ultimate business growth strategy. Start by getting clear on what you do and what value you provide. Then be sure to ask your current and potential customers what they care about so you can craft your message and marketing around that. Then edit your existing marketing materials to reflect that, and give away as much value as you can by teaching in a non-salesy way about how you can help others. Lastly, use paid traffic to fill your pipeline and keep a steady and consistent flow of leads coming into your business. When your funnel is dialled in and you’re seeing good results, simply scale it up, and your business has no other option than to grow. #### Summary The harsh reality is, if your business isn't growing, it's dying. So embrace the growth, and make it a key part of your businesses overall strategy. Your business will do better, you'll be happier, and your customers will too. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Business Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF A social media marketing plan is like a mini-marketing plan. Depending on whether or not you already have in place a company wide marketing plan in place will dictate the level and detail of your social media marketing plan. But even if you’re starting from scratch, a social media marketing plan is a great place to start to ensure you’ve got your bases covered and time spent on social won’t be time wasted. Step 1) Current Analysis – Where are you now? The first step is to identify what you’re already doing, and what platforms you’re on. From here you can decide where you want to go. Do you already have a few accounts set-up? Do they have customized headers and branding? Do you have any followers or “likes”? Step 2) Competitor Analysis – Where are they now? While it’s often a good idea to lead rather than follow, it’s still prudent to be aware of what the competition is doing. Making a list of competitors and their current social media usage can indicate 1 of 2 things. Step 3) Goals – Where would you like to be? Having goals is important to prevent 3 hour marathon Facebook sessions that provides little or no value. Is your goal to increase brand awareness? Drive traffic to your website? Build social authority? Step 4) Strategy – How are we going to do this? Given the goals set in the previous step, how are you going to achieve these? A few common social media strategies include: Listening, Engaging, Influencing and Contributing. Step 5) Target Market - Who’s going to listen? Knowing the details about your target market and the key statistics around which social media platforms they tend to use can help determine what to post, where to post, when, and how. Step 6) Implementation – It’s go time! When most people think social media, they think Facebook, maybe Instagram or Twitter, and possibly Pinterest. The truth is there are a ton of other related tools available under the header of social media that may, or may not, be suitable for your needs. But here’s the good news, you don’t need to use them all! In fact, you’re probably best to select only 1 or maybe 2 to start, and focus on doing them well. Determining which ones depend on your business, goals, and of course, your target market. Step 7) Monitoring – How are we doing? As Peter Drucker said, “what gets measured, gets managed” so this is a good opportunity to look back at our goals, see how we’re doing, and most importantly, see if we’re making any progress. Which is why a key part of having a social media marketing plan is to measure your performance and see how things are actually working out. The best and easiest way to do this is with something called a KPI, or key performance indicator. KPI’s are a marketing term that allow us to really identify what’s important, and then measure that. Step 8) Budgeting – How much are we going to spend? Having a social media marketing budget is an important part of the social media marketing plan because contrary to popular belief, social media in a business context isn’t free. There are costs involved with the time to set everything up, plan, and implement, as well as advanced options like monitoring, content creation, sharing, and increasingly important, promotion. Step 9) Return on Investment – How much did we make? Calculating a quantitative return on investment with social media can be a difficult task due to its largely qualitative results. It’s challenging after all to put an exact dollar amount on improved brand perception, increased brand awareness, or the number of customers reached or impressions gained through exposure from social media. Conclusion At the end of the day a good social media marketing plan is well worth the investment. Social media isn’t going away anytime soon, and has delivered some pretty incredible results for companies ranging from solopreneurs and small mom n’ pop shops all the way up to billion dollar enterprises. #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

How To Make Your Business Stand Out From The Crowd (Marketing Differentiation)

04:47
As Seth Godin says “In a crowded marketplace, fitting in is failing. In a busy marketplace, not standing out is the same as being invisible.” Wise words from a wise man, and that’s why on today’s episode we’re talking all about how to make your business stand out from the crowd so you don’t get lost in a noisy and crowded marketplace. The Game Has Changed The game has indeed changed. And being remarkable is the new reliable. Where customers used to want consistency and standard features they now favour interesting and unique. Where once a “one size fits all” mentality prevailed it is quickly being replaced by a customized approach tailored to each individual buyers wants and needs. To succeed and thrive in today’s hyper competitive world of marketing the name of the game is now to stand out, or risk disappearing into the abyss. To do this there is one key marketing term that every business owner, entrepreneur, and marketer must know in order to get the best results possible out of their marketing and their business; differentiation. Differentiation At the time of recording this there are 28 million small businesses in the United States alone. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that’s a whole lot of businesses. So with 28 million small businesses in the US alone, do you think “fitting in” is going to be a viable, profitable, and long-lasting strategy? Didn’t think so. Deficient Differentiation (Being The Same) When it comes to standing out amongst your competitors the scary thing is that more often than not, on closer examination many businesses unique selling propositions or key points of being different aren’t unique at all, but pretty much or even exactly the same as everyone else’s. The wording may be spun slightly differently or they might use a different synonym or two, but the end result is the same. A standard, boring, bland, USP that does little to encourage customer action, and even less to differentiate the business from their competitors. Deficient differentiation can be born of fear, resistance to change, or uncertainty in a businesses true value to its customers, but the end result is always the same; a business that looks the same, sounds the same, and does the same as everybody else. When your business is a commodity you get commodity treatment and can only charge commodity prices. When you’re business is one of a kind, you get to set your own rules - which I’m sure you’ll agree is a lot more fun. Defective Differentiation (Being Different In A Pointless Way) Another trap businesses fall into on their path to carving out their own unique place in the market is defective differentiation. Defective differentiation is being different, but in a way that doesn’t actually matter to your customers. The key here is in identifying what factors, traits, or benefits your target market actually wants, and then shifting your attention that way. Dominos did it with their “30 minutes or less” guarantee, a USP that actually mattered to their customers and instantly positioned them as the leaders in fast pizza. This worked because speed was something that really mattered to their customers, and they managed to carve out their place in the market around that. FedEx chose a similar speed focused USP with “When it absolutely, positively, has to get there overnight”. But what if you’re in a market that doesn’t value speed as highly as other qualities? For example, luxury goods are rarely sold with 24 hour flash sales or other speed related promotions. Not because speed doesn’t matter to their customers, but because it isn’t prized as highly as other things on the list, like quality, perception, and in some cases, value. Being different is great, just make sure you’re being different in a way that actually matters to your customers. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

Marketing Strategies For Small Business – 3 Keys To Successfully Market Your Business Online

02:51
There are so many marketing strategies for small business out there that it can be challenging trying to decide what strategy is best for your small business. Which is why on this episode, we’re going to go over 3 keys to successfully market your business online, so you can quickly learn what you need to do, and then get back to running your business. Key #1: Upgrade Your Website Your website is your businesses hub, a controllable online asset where you get to decide what to say, what to show, and how to design it. It’s also the online face of your company, so you really want to make sure you’re sending the right message when a customer checks you out for the first time. Ask yourself: -Is your website easy to find online? -Is it clean, modern, and looks good on different screen sizes? -And are your services and contact details easy to navigate to? Try to imagine visiting your website for the first time from your customers perspective and see what kind of image your website is giving about your company. Also, don’t forget about page load speed. Also, slow loading websites are quickly abandoned which means lost visitors and lost profits. Key #2: Facebook Ads Facebook Ads allow you to create laser targeted marketing campaigns and put them right in front of your target market. Facebook Ads are like TV, radio, magazines, and newspapers all rolled up into one super platform, but instead of costing thousands and thousands to get started, you can start for as little as a couple dollars a day. If you’re just getting started, running a Facebook Ad can be as simple as pushing the “boost post” button, but you’ll eventually want to graduate into running proper campaigns to really take advantage of all the features Facebook Ads have to offer. Key #3: Email Marketing Email marketing scares a lot of small business owners off, but it doesn’t need to. The truth about email marketing is that it can be as simple as sending a single email. The key with email marketing is to start now, and then automate the process. Your email marketing campaign can be a monthly newsletter, a weekly blog update, or daily tips on whatever it is you’re offering. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Business Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

How To Use Social Media To Promote Your Business (The Facebook Domination Formula)

08:23
If your goal is to promote and grow your business than using social media is kind of a no-brainer. But just using it isn’t enough to ensure your success online. So on today’s episode we’re pulling back the covers on one of the most effective business promotion strategies, on the world’s most popular, and most effective social media network, and revealing the inner workings of the Facebook Domination Formula so you can grow your business, attract more clients and customers, and boost your revenue. The Facebook Domination Formula The first step in deploying the formula for maximum impact is in understanding the tools available to you. And when it comes to Facebook, there’s no shortage of business building resources. So, let’s dive into the 4 pillars of the Facebook Domination Formula and what makes it a business promoting strategy like none other. 1. Organic The first piece of the puzzle is the most common, and most commonly complained about aspect of Facebook, and that is their organic, or regular posting option. This includes anytime you make a post on your businesses Facebook page and then DON’T pay to promote it. The common complaint is that Facebook has all but throttled organic reach making it nearly impossible to get your non-paid posts in front of your pages fans. 2. Paid Ads There is perhaps no more powerful tool available online, or even offline, right now than that of Facebook Advertising. With creative, placement, and targeting options like we’ve never seen before, Facebook is literally handing you the keys to their Billion dollar empire and saying “have at it”. The takeaway point is this. If you’re not currently using Facebook Ads to promote your business, you need to be. And you need to start now. 3. Livestream For those who aren’t afraid to take the next promotional step towards building the business of their dreams, Facebook Livestreaming is the next logical piece of the puzzle. This is because there are few media options out there that build trust as quickly and effectively as talking to someone live, face to face, in an authentic, transparent, and in all honesty, a pretty vulnerable way. And that’s exactly where Facebook livestreaming shines. By allowing you to broadcast yourself live on your Facebook page you’re able to build a bigger, better, and deeper level of connection with your customers and clients. 4. Groups A great way to build a substantial level of authority in your industry fast is to become the go-to source for information in your market. And a great way to do this is by creating a Facebook Group just for your ideal customers and clients. Facebook Groups are quick and easy to setup, and have a variety of privacy options that allow you to choose who gets in, who to kick out, what they see, and how easy your group is to find. Now obviously it would be great if you could do all 4, organic, paid, livestreaming, and groups, but if you’re just getting started and only have the resources for 1, then paid Facebook Ads are easily the best place to start and will help provide the quickest wins when it comes to promoting your business with social media. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

What Is Social Proof? (How to Increase Conversions And Boost Sales)

04:45
Social proof is one of the most psychologically profound consumer influencing factors... OK - That’s a bit of a mouthful - but it basically just means that it’s important and can also be really profitable as social proof helps increase conversions, and boost sales. So what exactly is social proof? Well, social proof involves showing your potential customers or clients how other people just like them have acted, and provides them with guidance and context for how they should act as well. This can be done through the use of things like testimonials, reviews, endorsements, case studies, and even building up a large social media following which shows – at least on the surface – that your business is something worth paying attention to. Here are 5 easy ways to quickly level up your social proof game so you can prove to the world that you’ve really got something good to offer. 1. Always use positive social proof When including social proof you always want to highlight the positive, and stay away from the negative. So what this means is that rather than drawing attention to the number of people that didn’t do something, you want to instead focus on the people that did. Focus on the positive and you’ll experience better conversions and more sales. 2. Use Pictures A picture really does tell a thousand words. And when it comes to social proof it may be even more than that, especially when you’re using testimonials. Maybe it’s the fact that some unscrupulous companies make up testimonials, or maybe it’s just that we don’t relate as well to just seeing words on a page. But whatever the case, you want to be sure to include a picture or even better, a video, of your happy customer whenever possible. It humanizes the testimonial and adds an element of trust that words just can’t do alone. 3. Keep it relevant Whenever you’re including social proof you want to be sure to keep it as relevant as possible. This means using testimonials from customers that best match whoever it is you’re trying to attract, or using similar case studies or examples to the product or service you’re trying to promote. 4. Low social proof is a bad idea If you haven’t yet reached a point where you’ve managed to build up a long list of happy customers, you haven’t been referenced, quoted, or interviewed, and you haven’t yet built up a community of followers or subscribers, have no fear, you can start accumulating these beacons of social proof today and have an impressive resume of testimonials and references in the next couple weeks. But until then, you need to understand that low social proof is worse than having no social proof at all. So wait until you have at least a few testimonials before posting them on your website, or a thousand or so social media followers, before you draw attention to your page. 5. Easy sources of social proof If you haven’t yet made building up social proof a key part of your businesses marketing strategy, don’t worry, now is as good a time as ever to get started. By far the best place to start is by asking your previous customers or clients for testimonials. If you’ve done a good job most will be more than happy to provide an endorsement, and some may even make a quick video for you which is even better. Once that’s done, it’s time to look through your certifications, awards, or any associations you may be a part of that you could display on your websites home or about page. After that, head over to social media and choose the one channel that your customers are most active on, and make interacting with them there a part of your daily routine. When you combine all these you’ll quickly build up a powerful collection of social proof which is all but guaranteed to help build your business. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

Digital Marketing Tutorial - How To Improve Your Campaigns ROI - Part 2 of 2

Watch Digital Marketing Tutorial For Beginners Part 1 of 2 Here: https://youtu.be/ocoKI97ocWo Digital marketing campaigns when properly designed and managed lead to increased brand awareness, better quality leads, and more sales. That’s why in part 2 of this two part series I’ve listed the 7 remaining strategies to dramatically increase your digital marketing campaigns effectiveness and return on investment. 7. Lead With Value. In today’s market you need to “give to get”. Not only does providing value first help establish your authority and credibility, it also leverages the mental trigger of reciprocity. Truly useful marketing campaigns are also more share-worthy, engaging, and help build trust and show expertise better than any other form of advertising. 8. Entertain. Even stereotypically “boring” industries can still benefit from an element of entertainment in their digital marketing campaigns. This can be done though design, creative ad copy, humor, statistics, or novelty. Educating while entertaining is a winning combination. 9. Understand The Funnel. To create a truly outstanding digital marketing campaign you need to understand where your audience is in regards to their relationship with your business. We use the terms, cold, warm, and hot, to describe those who don’t know you (cold) to those that do know you (warm) to those who have bought from you before (hot). Each audience requires a different message and strategy. 10. Effective Targeting. The key to keep your advertising costs under control comes down to effective targeting. This is where you decide exactly who you want to see your message, and how you can isolate them from the masses. Fortunately, marketing platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Bing, and Yahoo, all have highly sophisticated and laser focused targeting options so you can be sure your message is reaching the right people. 11. Optimization Principles. Properly optimizing your marketing means the difference between a good campaign, and a great one. As I mentioned before, you want to cut the losers, and scale the winners. Through research, analysis, and split testing, you are able to create “super-ads” that will outperform all others. 12. Don’t Reinvent The Wheel. Start with proven and effective ads and customize from there. While each business, industry, and market are different, there are still many similarities that you can draw from. If a certain advertisement has worked well for others in a different market, the odds are good that a similar ad structure could work just as well (or better) for yours. 13. Call to action. Be direct in what you want your audience to do. If you want them to call, ask them to call. If you want them to fill out a form, ask them to fill out a form. If you want them to click and buy now, ask them to click and buy now. There is a time and a place for fancy and artful copywriting, but the call to action isn’t it. 14. Never Say Goodbye. Thanks to the magic of retargeting, when a potential customer finishes viewing your ad, finishes reading your online article, finishes looking through your website, or finishes viewing your promotional video, they aren’t really gone. In fact, their journey is just beginning. A single point of contact is all you need in order to continue to serve them different messages, in different ways, until they become lifelong and loyal customers. These follow up messages are more targeted, more specific, and more cost effective and result in significantly higher returns over time. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart internet marketing online marketing social media marketing small business

Content Marketing Strategy (Top 7 Tips and Tricks)

07:21
Content marketing is a powerful strategy that produces serious results. Not only is it an effective way to build trust, generate leads, and increase sales, it’s a strategy that nearly any business on any budget can apply and benefit from. Now you may be sitting there thinking, “Been there, done that. Not for me,” or maybe you’re just exploring the idea of content marketing and not quite sure where to start. Either way, I can tell you that it absolutely can work to grow your business and it absolutely doesn’t have to be overly complicated. You just have to know where to focus your efforts. And by the end of this episode, you’ll have 7 Proven Content Marketing Tips to transform your content into the ultimate marketing tool. Content marketing tip #1: Begin with the end in mind There’s only one place you need to look to map out an effective content marketing strategy, and that place is the end. Here’s what I mean. The best way to develop your plan by working backwards. Before creating any type of content, get crystal clear on your marketing goals and what it is you’re trying to accomplish. This is what’s going to shape and streamline your message, giving every piece of content a strategic purpose. Content marketing tip #2: Know thy customer Here’s the bottom line: It’s useless to create content your target market doesn’t care about. Really, it defeats the purpose of content marketing altogether, right? This is why every single piece of content you create should hinge on knowing and understanding your audience. Creating an ideal customer avatar is one way to ensure you’re creating the right content for the right person. Content marketing tip #3: Salt in the wound Goals can wait. Hopes and dreams can be saved for a rainy day. But nothing makes someone more determined to act than pain. Whether it’s emotional, physical, or financial, when someone hurts they’re in the market for something to make it go away. Now obviously you’ll want to avoid using cruel or dramatic tactics here. But the key is to bring awareness to the discomfort and follow it up by offering a solution. Content marketing tip #4 Respect the platform Content should look like it belongs and not be out of place. That means respecting whatever media you’re using and studying what style and form of content performs best there. The best way to do this is to take a look at what other successful content creators are doing on the platform and then see how you can adapt, customize, and unleash your very own version of it. Also, don’t be afraid to look outside your industry for inspiration, the last thing the world needs is another “me too” piece of content. Content marketing tip #5: Go where they are A lot of valuable resources go into creating and distributing your content. So when it attracts little or no response, not only does it feel like time, energy, and money wasted, it discourages you from moving forward. So you’ll want to do everything possible to make sure your content doesn’t fall on deaf ears by choose platforms and channels your market uses. I know... sounds like common sense. But it’s easy to get sucked into using a million different social media channels just because they seem like the popular choice today. Content marketing tip #6 Syndicate and Share Once you have content, don’t be afraid to carve it up and share it across other channels and platforms. As an example a video can be turned into a podcast episode, can be transcribed into a blog post, and can be carved up further into Facebook posts, tweets, or condensed Linkedin articles. Content marketing tip #7 Call to Action You’ve just dosed your audience with a dangerous amount of high quality content. Now it’s time to use the opportunity to help guide your ideal prospect in the right direction. So do them right by providing them with the next logical piece of the puzzle. And you do that by ending every piece of content with a friendly call to action. Just like I’m about to do here. If you want to discover a way to quickly and easily deploy a high converting and profitable content marketing strategy in your business without the need to spend hours stuck at your desk or staring at the dreaded “blank screen of death” wondering what to write, then I highly encourage you to download your free copy of the Fast Content Formula by visiting adamerhart.com/fast ► Download your free copy of “The Fast Content Formula Here” – http://adamerhart.com/fast #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart

Digital Marketing Tutorial - How To Improve Your Campaigns ROI - Part 1 of 2

03:47
Watch Digital Marketing Tutorial For Beginners Part 2 of 2 Here: https://youtu.be/SNPivSeu5Y0 Digital marketing campaigns when properly designed and managed lead to increased brand awareness, better quality leads, and more sales. That’s why in part 1 of this two part series I’ve listed 7 strategies to dramatically increase your digital marketing campaigns effectiveness and return on investment. 1. Understand changing media consumption. I’ve found that this is the single most important element in designed and executing a high performing digital marketing campaign. Are you aware of exactly how your target market is consuming their information? No other strategy or tactic will matter if you’re barking up the wrong tree. The message simply doesn’t matter if it isn’t being heard by your target market. 2. Consumer Behavior. It’s important to design your digital marketing campaign around proven customer behaviour patterns and decision making criteria. While many factors are different in the online arena, the human brain is the same, and as Jeff Walker puts it, so are the mental triggers that create action. Be sure to incorporate at least one of the following (and ideally more) into every digital marketing campaign you run: Authority, reciprocity, trust, anticipation, likeability, events and rituals, community, scarcity, and social proof. 3. Facts Sell. While storytelling is an integral part of most marketing campaigns (and is often touted as the be all and end all) at the end of the day facts and statistics can often perform better in regards to proving expertise, and increasing conversions. Leverage and test both factual and emotional advertising in your marketing campaigns, and try to find a way to use relevant and authoritative references. 4. Images Are 80%. The success or failure of your digital marketing campaign largely comes down to the images you decide to use. The most important tip in choosing an image is first making sure it catches your prospects attention, and next making sure it’s relevant. Irrelevant ads may get clicks, but they rarely get conversions. Stock images can also be effective, but they are most effective when customized and optimized for your audience. 5. Split Testing. Perhaps one of the greatest advantages of digital marketing is the ability to test one campaign against another in order to quickly cut lower performing ads, and scale up higher performing ones. Split testing should be done in stages, starting with your images, followed by your headline, and finally your body copywriting. The end result is a higher performing and more cost effective ad. 6. Respect Attention Spans. Attention spans have been getting shorter year after year, and nowhere is this more evident than online. This isn’t a bad thing however, as the odds are good that your competitors are failing to recognize and capitalize on this, which leaves the door open for you to create eye-catching and engaging ads. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart internet marketing online marketing small business

The Difference Between Marketing vs Branding Strategy

Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa That old marketing vs branding debate is a tricky one, but on today's episode we're going to tackle it head on, talking about brand awareness marketing versus direct response marketing and which one is best for your business. You see, when it comes to marketing your business, there's no shortage of strategy, tactics or tools available to use. You can use social media, you can use email marketing, there's content marketing, there's video marketing, you can blog, do SEO, you can do direct mail, pay-per-click, maybe start a YouTube channel, maybe run some Facebook ads... You ever consider putting up a banner or doing some skywriting? Don't do that ;) Regardless of which tactic you decide to use, they tend to fall into one of two camps: One of which is brand awareness marketing, and the other one is direct response marketing. Now, when I first got involved in the marketing game, I fell firmly into the brand awareness marketing which is all about creating value, creating content, getting out there and staying top of mind among your target market. However, it didn't take long before the siren song of the direct response marketer started calling me in, and I was all but enthralled with creating those direct response ads that were designed to get action and get action quickly. Marketing Pricing Strategies (The Low Price Monster)

04:25
We all have fears to some degree or another... When I was a kid, I was afraid of the monster under my bed (I used to jump off the bed so he couldn’t grab me as I stepped down - he was sneaky like that). Now as a marketer, I’m afraid of the “Low Price Monster” Terrified actually. You see, when everything else is equal, the defining consumer buying decision will be price. So the solution then is to not let everything else be equal. Because you never want your businesses primary competitive advantage to be price. Never. Never ever. You see, when you compete on price alone a funny thing happens. It’s a race to the bottom. And whoever gets there first, loses. ## The Downward Spiral Of Low Prices Here’s how it normally goes. You lower your prices in an attempt to win more market share. Your competition sees what you’re doing and quickly lowers their prices as well. You see that the competitions prices are now lower, so you inch yours down another few dollars. The competition sees this, and so they take their pricing down a few dollars more. And lower, and lower, and lower it goes. Destroying profits, eating away at your margins, and forcing you to cut costs in other important areas like customer service, after sales support, marketing, and business development. ## There Is A Better Way Fortunately, when looking for a way to stand out from the competition the opportunities are nearly endless. Can your business be: 1) Better 2) Faster 3) Nicer 4) Cooler 5) Cleaner 6) Smarter 7) Prettier 8) Tastier 9) Easier 10) Cheaper (just kidding… don’t be cheaper) ## Where To Start When you look for a competitive advantage to capitalize on the first step is to take stock of your businesses strengths. Don’t be afraid to write down anything and everything that comes to mind. Ask yourself questions like: 1) What is it about your business that’s unique? 2) What makes your business better? 3) Why would a customer choose to do business with you, rather than someone else? Once you’ve got these down take a look at your competitors weaknesses, and write them down as well. Once these are all tallied up, take a look at your customers and what they value most, because it’s absolutely pointless to do something better than your competitors, that your customers don’t even care about. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

3 Tips To Increase Sales – Without Discounting or Damaging Your Business

04:18
When it comes to generating more sales for your business there are nearly an endless supply of strategies and tactics available to try. For example, you could cold call potential prospects, but this shifts the power balance and makes you look needy, not to mention, isn’t a whole lot of fun. Or you could slash your prices, but this devalues what you have to offer, and destroys your profit margins. Or you could run frequent sales every week, or every month, but this teaches your customers and clients to wait for the next sale rather than to act now. So as you can see, not all strategies are created equal. Which is why on today’s episode we’re going to cover 3 tips to increase your sales, without discounting, or damaging your business and brand. 1. Events (Scarcity) The first way to provide a rapid cash injection and influx of sales is to create an event around your product, service, or business. Events capitalize on the powerful psychological trigger of scarcity by allowing you to ethically and honestly put a real deadline on whatever promotion you’re offering. 2. Upgrades (Exclusivity) Discounting works. But the repeated, and sometimes abused discounting of products and services does nothing to help build long term value and respect in your market. Aside from the fact that we subconsciously associate price with value, it also teaches your customers to wait for the next sale rather than act now. This is why rather than discounting, I suggest upgrading. 3. Rewards (Reciprocity) Running right alongside events and upgrades are rewards which are offered for no other reason than to say thanks! And to promote new sales of course. Unlike an upgrade which is offered upon purchase a reward is offered with no requirement or stated expectation of purchase. Aside from generating goodwill, this strategy also naturally instills an element of reciprocity in the receiver where they feel out of balance until the favor is returned. - Long Term Brand Value Vs Short Term Sales The takeaway point is this. Long term brand value shouldn’t be jeopardized just to make a few more short term sales, especially when you can use the strategies of events, upgrades and rewards to boost your sales, improve your brand perception, and bring even more value in the marketplace and all without discounting or damaging your business, brand, or reputation. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart Snapchat: snapadamerhart

How To Get Great Results For Your Clients (And Get More High Paying Clients)

07:08
Goals, values, and motivations vary in range from business owner to entrepreneur but in the end, most of us share the same core desire: produce great results for high paying clients. In this episode, we’ll go over ways to get great results for your clients and get more high paying clients with your business. The prospect of landing high paying clients can seem impossibly out of reach. And yes, there’s a certain amount of skill involved with delivering the type of results that high paying clients expect. But even as an established entrepreneur, attaining high-quality clients can be challenging simply because they’re missing a few basic yet vital pieces of the puzzle. #1: Make sure you’re working with the right people Working under less-than-enjoyable circumstances, whether it be a nightmare client or too little pay, can create feelings of dread and make the overall project seem daunting. First, know the qualities of your ideal client as well as the red flags and keep them fresh in mind throughout the process. Say you only work with high paying clients. Look for evidence they already value what you offer. Do they show signs of making previous investments in line with your industry? Talk to colleagues, Google their name, scope out their social profiles, and ask the prospect qualifying questions to ensure they can afford you. #2: Get crystal clear on what you do and what you don’t do Many entrepreneurs want to do it all. They spread themselves thinly across multiple offers in fear of missing out on potential clients. But really, it could prove to be even more costly to your bottom line. So don’t be afraid to clarify what you do and don’t do in order to simplify your business. Deepen your focus on one specialty offer and use it as leverage to land ideal clients and charge premium prices. #3: Adopt a Learner’s Mindset Watching your business grow is nothing short of exciting. But with every new level comes a new set of challenges and when the seas get rough, perspective is everything. Study others, both inside and outside your industry, who’ve achieved the type of success you want. • What were the steps and strategies that got them to the top? • What mistakes were made along the way? The key is knowing when it’s time to invest in some help. It could be in the form of a book, online course or maybe some professional counsel. Even the greats have coaches, teachers, and mentors who’ve given them the boost they needed to climb to the top. #4: Constantly hone and refine your process To get truly great results for your clients and see the most return, all the moving parts of your business have to operate as efficiently as possible. Rather than play damage control, you want to stay on top of testing, measuring and optimizing the inner workings of your business. • What’s outdated? What could be simplified? • Could upgrading a system save you money in the long-term? • Could you delegate certain tasks in order to focus on a more profitable area of your business? Constantly refining your process will open the capacity to serve current clients as well as handle new ones. #5: Charge enough Entrepreneurs think they’re being generous by undercharging for their products and services. There’s a few problems with this mindset. One, people don’t value free or cheap so if your prices are low, they’re likely to assume you’ll deliver subpar results which brings me to point two. If you’re putting in way too many hours for very few dollars, you’ll be burnt out, frustrated and resentful toward the project or client. You’re working to increase their lifetime value and allowing them to feel good by investing in their business. And don’t forget that your prices reflect the value you hold of yourself. There’s a good chance you’re doing a much better job than you think you are and your client appreciates you. So value your time, your work, and have the confidence to ask for what you’re worth. #6: Have a Safety Net If you’re still uncertain about your abilities and feel a little uneasy, either offer a guarantee or don’t be afraid to give them their money back if it doesn’t work out. When you follow the steps we’ve just laid out, the odds are stacked in your favour to deliver amazing results to your clients. A genuine desire to satisfy your clients along with a passion for progress will add and attract value to your business. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart

Best Way To Generate Leads Online | 5-Step Strategy

07:33
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Click here to work with me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Today we’re talking about one of my all-time favorite subjects which would be non-other than online lead gen. More specifically, the best way to generate leads online for your business and my 5-step strategy to make it happen, every time. Also stick around till the end because I’m going to give you my top 2 channels to focus on that are showing the best results right now across all my clients and students businesses. OK, now let’s get to it. When it comes to generating more leads online there is no shortage of strategies available to try. You can run paid ads, you can do email marketing, you can create video content for YouTube, audio content for a podcast, or text content for a blog. You can optimize your website for SEO, spend time doing organic social media posting, the list is pretty much endless. But what makes matters worse and even more confusing, is that for every strategy available there are at least a dozen gurus saying it’s the best thing ever, and a dozen more saying it sucks and don’t waste your time. So let me pull back the curtain and let you in on a little secret that most gurus don’t like to share. It’s not that the strategies don’t work… most of them do… and it’s not necessarily your fault either… odds are you did your best and gave it the old college try. So. The problem isn’t the strategy, and it’s not you either, rather, it’s the mismatch combination of the two and the fact that most strategies aren’t being built on a solid foundation. So let’s fix that now by watching the video! *Marketing Resources Work With Me: https://bit.ly/2FY2vzF Facebook Ad Image Guide : https://bit.ly/2H9EPt9 FAST Content Formula : https://bit.ly/2JEu5kz 60 Second Video Ad Script : https://bit.ly/2GQF0Kl One Page Marketing Plan : https://bit.ly/2v6HPBp *My Marketing Toolkit My Computer : https://amzn.to/2v5BXZi My Email Marketing Software: https://bit.ly/2qEmhHX My Landing Page Software : https://bit.ly/2v5g1xw My Website Hosting Software : https://bit.ly/2JCRJ13 Conversion Boosting Tool : https://bit.ly/2qrdCby My Speed Learning Secret : https://amzn.to/2JEm938 *My Video Gear My MAIN Camera : https://amzn.to/2GRxu1R My Backup Camera : https://amzn.to/2qq9nMx My MAIN Lens : https://amzn.to/2Hxgqvi The Second Fave Lens : https://amzn.to/2IKrxjK My MAIN Mic : https://amzn.to/2IOksP1 My Fave Tripod : https://amzn.to/2quJewr My DRONE : https://amzn.to/2v4wEcx Another place to get my DRONE : https://bit.ly/2F3FTJM My Drone Filters : https://amzn.to/2IKz1mW *FOLLOW ME: Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adamerhart

How to Become an Expert In Your Field

07:03
Whether you want to use the term expert, authority, or even preeminent positioning, one thing is clear, life is better on top. Because when you’re perceived as an expert or authority by your market you can charge more, work with better customers and clients, and essentially set your own rules… you are the expert after all. Which is why in this episode we’re talking all about how you can become an expert and the benefits that go along with it. Becoming an expert is actually really simple. Don’t get me wrong it’s not easy, but it is simple. Rather, it’s the second part of the equation that takes time, energy, persistence, and hard work. And that second part is not just becoming an expert, but becoming PERCEIVED as an expert. Because it doesn’t matter how great you really are, if nobody knows it. So let’s cover the easy one first so we can get that out of the way and move on to the good stuff. How To Become An Expert Becoming an expert is actually a fairly simple task. Simply choose the area you want to master and dedicate a significant amount of time to dutifully studying, practicing, and implementing your topic. Read books, talk to other experts, find mentors, hire coaches, practice, and put your studies into action and 10,000 hours or so later you’re an expert, or pretty darn close. How To Be PERCEIVED As An Expert Perception equals reality. Therefore once you’ve established a sufficient level of knowledge, skill, and expertise on your subject it’s time to move on to phase 2; creating Authority Implying Signals (AIS) that show your audience and market that you really are an expert. You need these symbols because without them your expertise will simply sit on the shelf ignored and underutilized collecting dust and doing nothing to build your brand or business. So here are 5 ways to be perceived by your customers, clients, leads, and prospects as a genuine and authentic expert and authority in your field. 1. Produce, Post, and Publish There is perhaps no better strategy available today when it comes to building expertise and authority than content marketing. But this shouldn’t be surprising. After all, the exact same principles involved in content marketing apply equally to building authority and expert status. These include educating your market, creating original content, and sharing your ideas and opinions with your audience. 2. Precision Promotion The next way to become perceived as an expert by your market is to focus your attention on only your most ideal customers or prospects and reach them where they are. When you get crystal clear about who it is you’re trying to serve a couple of amazing things start to happen. First, you’re able to refine and clarify your message so your audience will feel as if you’re speaking directly to them and their pain points and problems. And next, it will allow you to cut your marketing efforts in half, by abandoning platforms and channels that aren’t frequented by your market. 3. Share and Care Experts and authorities naturally have opinions. And therefore so should you. I’m not suggesting you need to be loud, obnoxious or contrarian just to stand out, but you should have a position, stance, or opinion on your topic and not be afraid to stand behind and support it. 4. Engage and Interact Engaging and interacting is an important promotional strategy that will not only help build your brand but will also ensure you stay connected to your customers and clients. In fact, your level of engagement and interaction with your tribe can be tied directly to an increase in perceived expertise, authority, and ultimately, revenue. This is because engaging with your community, answering questions, solving problems, and really just talking to people are all key steps in humanizing your business while simultaneously allowing you to showcase your knowledge and expertise. 5. Continuing Education Becoming and staying an expert means committing to ongoing and continuing education. The key here is to make it fun and enjoyable and not limit yourself to just sitting at a desk and reading for hours on end, unless of course that’s your thing. Because when it comes to continuing education the options available are nearly endless. You of course have the traditional route of good old fashioned hard copy books, but you also have audiobooks, seminars, conferences, masterminds, podcasts, webinars, coaching and consulting, and online courses and training, just to name a few. So don’t be afraid to spice it up and vary your content consumption. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

Why You Should Start A Podcast

08:09
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa On today's episode, we're talking all about why you should start a podcast and when maybe you shouldn't. This is a pretty popular topic these days especially as audio marketing is growing in popularity. Now the reason audio marketing is growing in popularity is due to a number of different reasons. But the main one is the fact that it's just so easy now to go out there and to consume audio marketing. Especially as you and your customers and your clients become busier and busier. After all, it's hard to read a blog or to watch a video when you're driving in the car, at least, you really shouldn't be. And it's hard to read a blog or read a book or even watch a video when you're on the treadmill or lifting weights at the gym. Again, you probably shouldn't be. And if you're doing housework around the yard or you're outside, or you're going for a run or you're biking or anything like that. Again, kinda hard to watch a video and read a blog. But audio, well, you can multitask with audio. You can have it go into your ears as you keep your hands free and you're free to do almost anything else. And this is the reason that people, especially busy people are tending to gravitate more towards audio content now than ever before. But I'm getting out of myself, check out the video to learn more... ***FREE Marketing Resources YouTube Subscribe Link: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Facebook Ad Image Guide : https://bit.ly/2H9EPt9 FAST Content Formula : https://bit.ly/2JEu5kz 60 Second Video Ad Script : https://bit.ly/2GQF0Kl One Page Marketing Plan : https://bit.ly/2v6HPBp ***My Marketing Toolkit My Computer : https://amzn.to/2v5BXZi My Email Marketing Software: https://bit.ly/2qEmhHX My Landing Page Software : https://bit.ly/2v5g1xw My Website Hosting Software : https://bit.ly/2JCRJ13 Conversion Boosting Tool : https://bit.ly/2qrdCby My Speed Learning Secret : https://amzn.to/2JEm938 ***My Video Gear My MAIN Camera : https://amzn.to/2GRxu1R My Backup Camera : https://amzn.to/2qq9nMx My MAIN Lens : https://amzn.to/2Hxgqvi The Second Fave Lens : https://amzn.to/2IKrxjK My MAIN Mic : https://amzn.to/2IOksP1 My Fave Tripod : https://amzn.to/2quJewr My DRONE : https://amzn.to/2v4wEcx My Drone Filters : https://amzn.to/2IKz1mW ***FOLLOW ME: Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adamerhart

Service Business Marketing Strategy

07:09
Click here to subscribe: https://bit.ly/2HxjQRa Today we're talking about all the strategies and tactics behind marketing your service-based business. So, seeing as you have a business to run... Let's get right to them with 5 of my absolute best strategies to grow your business. The first and most important thing you need to do when trying to grow and trying to market your service-based business is... This means to give marketing the respect it deserves. Let me elaborate. Obviously, you already understand how important marketing is, after all, you're here reading this article right now. But the important thing is, you want to carry on this trend and continue it through all of your business. Because, when it comes to growing and marketing a service-based business, there are obvious differences between services and products. What we're talking about here is what the benefits are that your client is going to experience when they do business with your company. So, in the same way when we're talking about selling a physical product where we can actually show them something... When we're talking about service-based businesses, we need to clearly articulate the end state that they're going to experience. (And all the benefits that they're going to get when doing business with your company.) Now, one of the best ways to do this is to fully express all of the benefits that your business provides. And making sure to paint this in as clear a way as possible. This is essentially taking the pain that they've got, taking the solution that you have... And then painting out a clear and simple process to get them there. Now, the better and the more clear, and the simpler you're able to spell this process out, the better you're gonna do when it comes to marketing your service business. This is because clarity sells. Simple sells. And confusing your customers is one of the fastest ways to lose a sale. So make your process clear. At this point in the game, you understand marketing is important. You know the benefits you provide. You know the pain they have. You've worked on bridging the gap. So what are you going to do with this content and with this marketing collateral? Well, this is where it's really important to go to the one, two, maybe three places where your prospects spend their time online. The key here is to make sure you really knock it out of the park for your clients by WAY overdelivering, and exceeding their expectations. SEO Tips and Tricks 2019

08:35
With more than 97% of people beginning their search for a local business online, search engine optimization, SEO for short, continues to be one of the most effective forms of marketing available today. But as useful as SEO is, it’s also one of the most complex and technical marketing tactics available - which means confusion, and a missed opportunity for many business owners. So in this video I’m going to break down a few of the most valuable, and easiest to implement SEO tactics – so you can start benefitting from a business boost that only high search engine rankings can provide. My History With SEO There’s no doubt about it, SEO has been the largest driver of my digital marketing agency Siren Consulting Firm’s traffic and business over the last 5 years. In fact, I can attribute roughly 60% of all revenue to business gained directly by a client searching for something online, clicking my agency site, and then choosing to do business with us. TITLE: Earnings Disclaimer: My boutique marketing consulting business (adamerhart.com) comes mostly from referrals followed by content marketing and paid traffic. Different business models mean different traffic sources. I’ve worked personally with dozens of companies, spoken with hundreds more, and studied many, many more than that, and have come to the conclusion that choosing NOT to pursue an SEO strategy should be a very rare exception, and never a rule. Put bluntly, SEO works. It brings in traffic and it brings in revenue. Both key ingredients to building profitable and sustainable businesses. So here’s how to do it. Optimize For The User Experience Search engine algorithms, which are the complicated math equations behind why certain websites appear higher than others, are notorious for changing. It seems like there was a time not so long ago when not a day went by without some breaking news about a Panda or Penguin update being overhauled and unleashed on the world. As a quick side note, Panda, Penguin, and Hummingbird are part of Google’s algorithm. Cute little animals designed to DESTROY bad SEO tactics and the companies that use them. Anyways, staying ahead of these ferocious little animals means staying current and relevant on the latest SEO news and development, and right now the focus is on user experience. Keyword Placement Next up is keyword placement. One of the ways search engines decide what websites are going to appear for certain search terms is keywords. Specifically the type, number, and placement of these keywords on your website. There’s a bit of a balance between ensuring adequate coverage of your most valuable terms, known as proper keyword density, and not overdoing it, known as keyword stuffing, that makes SEO an exciting and challenging field to work in, but in general there are a few key places you want to make sure are accurately reflecting the word you’re trying to rank for. These include things like URL’s, Titles, Body Copy, Page Descriptions and proper image tagging like labelling image titles, descriptions, and ALT tags. Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI’s) The next step is to strike the perfect balance between making sure you’re using the right keywords for your business while still respecting the user experience and not keyword stuffing. And one way to do this is with Latent Semantic Indexing. Search Engine Journal describes Latent Semantic Indexing, LSI for short as “a mathematical method used to determine the relationship between terms and concepts in content.” Basically, LSI’s are fancy talk for synonyms, or similar words. Make It Shareable Once all of the above is done and running smoothly it’s time to step outside. Outside of your website that is. That’s because as great as you say your website and company are – search engines want a little more proof. And they get this proof through links. Specifically, the quality and number of links that are pointing back to your website. And a great long term strategy to safely and ethically acquire high quality links is through an SEO focused content marketing strategy. SEO Content Marketing Strategy The basics of an SEO content marketing strategy are really quite simple. Create good content, put it on your website, and then build links to it. But like all things, the devil’s in the details, so here are a few methods to ensure you’re creating shareable, also known as linkable, content, and then a few suggestions for how to get those links. Top Shareable Content 1. Video 2. Infographics 3. Images 4. Quality Content How To Get Links 1. Manual outreach 2. Paid traffic 3. Social media 4. Email Marketing basics – Why It Is Important To Build An Email List

02:51
Building an email list and using email marketing in your business is still without a doubt one of the most effective ways to drive sales and increase revenues. As far as a digital marketing strategy goes, with some stats even showing a 4300% return on investment, this is a huge opportunity. So in this email marketing tutorial we're going to be covering a few reasons why your businesses marketing strategy needs to include email. The fact is… email marketing works. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in a business to consumer (B2C) or a business to business (B2B) market, the fact is, the people you’re trying to reach all likely use email. Why build an email list? Well for one thing, a staggeringly high 4300% ROI. Not to mention direct access to your customers. And their expressed desire to actually want to hear from you and receive your emails. Email is also an everyday part of our lives now, and most people check it at least once a day and now check it wherever they are from their phones which means you have the opportunity to reach your customers every day, no matter where they are. This means direct access, anytime, anywhere. Email marketing also offers a level of protection by giving you your customers contact details and access to them just in case your favourite social media channel ever decided to close, or change it’s algorithm like Facebook did awhile back in an effort to boost their ad revenues. Finally, email marketing is extremely easy to use. Once you’ve signed up for an email marketing service and entered a few basic details you’re pretty much ready to go, and can start collecting and sending emails that same day. To see what email marketing software I use and recommend visit http://adamerhart.com/resources Lastly, probably the best part of email marketing however is the fact that even today, it’s still not being effectively used by most small businesses, which leaves the door wide open for you to better connect with your current and potential clients and customers. One of the biggest regrets I’ve found among established business owners is that they failed to focus on building their email list earlier. So my advice to you is to get started today, and if you’d like an example of what to say and how to write your emails then be sure to head over to adamerhart.com/newsletter and sign up for the Modern Marketing Newsletter so you can see exactly how I use email marketing in my business. #### Summary Use email marketing, and start now. How To Build A Tribe Of Loyal Clients & Customers

04:00
► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan On this episode, we're talking about why I drove two hours just to get a cookie and how to build a tribe of customers. My name is Adam Erhart, and welcome to the Modern Marketing Show, where we take different marketing tactics, tools, tips, and strategies, and break them down into bite-size, actionable clips that you can use to take your business to the next level. Now, you may be wondering why I'm standing out here freezing in the rain just to get a good cookie. Well, stick with me, and I'll show you in just a second. All right, so we're in the car, and we're driving about an hour away just to get a cookie. So, all in all, it's about a two-hour round trip, and again, just for a cookie. Now granted, these cookies are pretty good, but that's not the only reason that our family likes to make these outings to some of our favorite spots. What is it about these businesses that prompts such loyalty and builds such, sort of loyal 'brand ambassadors', that keep either driving good distances or booking so far in advance? Basically, filling up their business with those loyal customers. First, got to get those cookies. All right, so here we are at the bakery. Now, we've got cookies in store, so I'm going to make this quick. Anyways, point number one, is that you want to be remarkable. It's a really old-fashioned bakery, so it's a really kind of eclectic mix between old on the inside and new on the outside. It's essentially just worth talking about. Essentially what it makes is for a remarkable business. Point number two: you want to be consistent. Now, I've got a few places that I absolutely love, but sometimes the hours of availability aren't always what you're expecting. Which means, you'll show up and they'll be closed, or they'll carry different hours. With this place, you always know what you're going to get, which means they have consistently, the same hours. They have consistently, the same kind of products. You know when we're going to be driving two hours just for a cookie, that those cookies are going to be in stock. That's important if you want to build a loyal following. The same comes with your marketing, and with your content. With anything else you're putting out there: You have to be consistent. The next thing is that you need to be authentic, which means staying true to your brand, and to your business, and to what you stand for. They're authentic to themselves and to those that they serve. The last and final piece of the puzzle is, you need to be patient. These successes don't happen over night. Consistently delivering an authentic experience in a remarkable way. A quick recap of everything we talked about: To build a loyal tribe of customers that want to come back to your business again and again, you want to be reliable, you want to be consistent, you want to be authentic, and you want to have patience. Does Social Media Marketing Work? (The Who, What, When, Where, and Why)

04:53
Does social media marketing work?... Yes. Yes it does. Now we could really stop there, but for those of you who need a little more convincing, let’s dive into the who, what, where, when, why, and how of social media that make it one of this century’s greatest marketing achievements and opportunities. The Who I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, regardless of what business, industry, or market you’re in, there’s a social media platform out there that was all but designed for your business. Social media is for everyone, and ignoring it or not using it to the best of your advantage only shows your businesses lack of interest in staying current, relevant, and relatable to your customers. The What The next question I get is what social media channel should I use? Well this one is actually pretty simple, and all comes down to your customers. More specifically, what social media platforms do they use? After all, it doesn’t make sense to invest time and money on a platform where you’re unlikely to run into any current or potential customers. The Where Where should you use social media? Everywhere. Use it to tell your brands story, use it to showcase your products or services, use it to highlight and spotlight your customers, and use it to give your customers a behind the scenes look at your company and how things work. The When So when should you use social media? Regularly, and consistently. Plan ahead by creating a content calendar and setting daily, weekly, and monthly guidelines that correspond with upcoming promotions, seasons, offers, or launches. The Why So why use social media? Well for starters, because not only will it help your business today, but it will also protect your business tomorrow. After all, over 90% of young adults from 18-29 use social media, and a full third of millennial’s say that social media is their preferred way of communicating with a business. The How So with all that said, what’s the best way to use social media in your business to better attract, connect, and nurture relationships with your customers? Well, it all comes down to being authentic and engaged. First, find the social media channels that your customers are active on and the ones that best align with your brand and business. Then, don’t be afraid to be yourself and put your business out there. Show your brand and business for who you are and that you’re not a faceless corporation, but actually have real people working in your business. Next, all you need to do is show up. Make sure that you stay active and engaged as you build your online community by regularly checking in, posting helpful and valuable content, and responding to comments or shares. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Marketing Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart
