The TRUTH about OIL and the SYRIAN WAR
★ Go to https://dukesman.com and support Real Matters ► Subscribe on YouTube : http://bit.ly/2uQHX6B ► Instagram : http://bit.ly/2uQIq8R Lets look at the oil and natural gas pipelines that run through the Middle East and Syria and why this conflict is really about Europe's addiction to oil in 2017. Remember to Like & Sub! Check out my new report. Why Erdogan is Nervous about The Kurds in Turkey : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wun4CR-DvwY&t=5s ________________ Syria itself is not a major energy producer in the region, however its importance lies as a potential transit hub from energy suppliers like Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq towards the thirsty energy markets of Europe. Notably proposed pipelines of major energy projects would pass through Syria , into Turkey and then enter the European grid. With the onset of the Civil war in Syria, the proposed pipeline projects have all been put on hold and their future is unclear. The most important aspect of this, is Europes need for energy diversity. Europe and Russia The EU’s energy thirst is estimated to be the second largest in the world after the United States. Notably, some 70- 80% of its energy requirements are satisfied by Russian gas and oil, piped in mostly through Ukraine. Disputes between Ukraine and Russia over energy first publicly surfaced in 2002 and culminated in 2009 when Russia cut supplies to Ukraine for short period of time, setting off panic in European capitals. This made the issue of Europes energy reliance on Russia more pressing. The subsequent Civil war in Ukraine is also deeply linked to this relationship. But this will be examined in a later video so please Subscribe with the button below if you want to hear more about that. European leaders came to the understanding that Europe needed a more diverse energy environment. Backed by the United States they sought to bring energy supplies, mainly from the energy rich Middle East into Europe. Syria’s position as a important transit route elevated the need for an agreement with the Syrian government that would bring supplies from the energy rich Gulf and Saudi Arabia into Europe, bypassing Russia . The Syrian Pipelines A Pipeline was proposed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar ,backed by the United States , which would use Syria as a transit route. The Pipelines would Saudi- Qatar pipeline would pass through Jodan - Syria and Turkey before entering Europe. The Syrian Government rejected the proposal. Syria's rationale for the rejection the Saudi-Qatari pipeline proposal was said to be "to protect the interests of [its] Russian ally, which is Europe's top supplier of natural gas." A competing Pipelines was also proposed dubbed The Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline . A natural gas pipeline running from Iran towards Europe via Iraq, Syria and Lebanon to supply European customers as well as Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. The pipelines ran into numerous problems mostly from US pressure and its Swiss backers have since stopped its financing. The earliest proposed Pipeline intended to bypass Russia was the Nabucco Pipeline. Which aims to bring Caucasus and Iraqi oil through Turkey, the balkans and ending in Austria. This project is also supported by a number of EU member states and the United States. The project was later scrapped in favour of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline , which has now been almost completed and will start by bringing BP’s Azerbaijani Energy through Turkey - Greece- Albanian into Italy. The project is aimed to start supplying oil and gas by 2018 and the pipeline itself is in the final stages of competition. Once ready, this will be the first major means of energy diversification in Europe.

Syrian refugees and host communities acquire agricultural job skills in Turkey
http://www.fao.org/emergencies/resources/documents/resources-detail/en/c/472381/ Turkey hosts the largest number of Syrian refugees of any country in the world. Concentrated in Turkey’s south-eastern Anatolia region, adjacent to the border with Syria, the refugees have few livelihood options. Often they rely on humanitarian assistance, work as casual wage labourers, or adopt severe coping strategies. Through vocational training, the project is expected benefit three groups: agricultural producers, refugees and host communities. It aims to improve social cohesion between Syrian refugees and their host communities by creating employment for both groups, increasing household incomes, improving productivity, and raising the quality of agricultural products. The project targets Syrian refugees and host communities in Turkey, for development of vocational skills in the agriculture sector. The aim is to provide employment opportunities for some 900 people in five provinces of Southern Turkey: Adana, Gaziantep, Isparta, Mersin and Sanliurfa. The Iranian Military Presence in Syria
With the intense deficiency of the Syrian people’s resources, Iran continues to gather its forces in Syria and liberally consumes these resources with no abstention. Does this contribute to the cessation of war for the benefit of the Syrian people, or is it a part of Iran’s strategical interest in the region?

On January 29, 2002, U.S. President George W. Bush labeled countries like Iraq, Iran, North Korea, and Syria, as an "Axis of Evil". 17 years later, the U.S. invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the secret ops done by the CIA and its Israeli counterpart in Libya, Syria, Egipt, Tunis, Sudan, and Yemen, have left over two million people dead, tens of millions displaced and in a state of severe poverty. All in the name of a "war on terror", which for the people in the Middle East has become a war of terror. Today, the only forces that stand against the neo-colonial project of reshaping and controlling the Middle East and its natural resources, are the noble people of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and the Hezbollah of Lebanon. They form a righteous "Axis of Resistance" against the USA-Israel-KSA-UK Axis of Evil. This video is dedicated to them. 200 Russians Were Killed by US Airstrikes in Syria. Details, Recorded Radio Communications.
[UPDATE]: The bridge was destroyed not on January 9, but on February 6, i.e. just 1 day before the attack. Over 200 Russian military contractors were killed by US airstrikes in Syria on February 7, 2018. The contractors were members of the so-called Wagner Group private military company (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wagner_Group). Russian law officially bans mercenary service and private military companies, so in really the Wagner Group is just a unit of the Russian Ministry of Defence in disguise. Many of the Wagner contractors gained military experience in eastern Ukraine before departing to Syria. Khusham is an oil-rich area in Deir el-Zour province in north eastern Syria, which has been the major source of revenue for ISIS in 2014-2017. In September 2017, the area was liberated by U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Although Assad is now controlling about 50% of the territory of Syria together with his allies Russia and Iran, he still needs resources to cover his expenses on war and to keep his regime alive. By some information, Assad proposed a deal to Putin – to keep 25% of all oil resources that Putin helps Assad to return back under his control. US, which wants to remove the tyrant Assad from power in Syria, obviously opposes that. Russian attack on SDF started at 10 pm on February 7, 2018. Initially, only one battalion tactical group participated in the attack, which included more than 10 tanks and 30 other armored vehicles. US forces responded to this attack with devastating strikes using high-precision weapons, probably including HIMARS rocket systems. The latter rocket systems destroyed Russian cover artillery batteries, while drones were used to help to guide fire. After Russian artillery and Russian-Syrian offensive operational groups were destroyed, subsequent strikes destroyed rearguard units, which basically eliminated the second battalion tactical group. Simultaneously with artillery strikes, electronic warfare system was operating, which completely suppressed radio communication with the offensive groups. The air space was most probably controlled by two pairs of F-22 Raptors, which monitored possible appearance of Russian aviation in this region. In 2 hours, 80% of all Russian and Assad forces were destroyed. Then, elimination of the remaining small groups began. Using Lockheed AC-130 and two pairs of attack helicopters covered by F-22’s, Americans wiped out the area from the remaining groups of enemy. The total losses of Russia and Assad constituted up to 90% of all military vehicles and 70-80% of manpower. Americans didn’t have any losses. The total duration of the operation was about 6 hours. Sustaining Livelihoods and Land Resources in Olive Mountains-Syria.wmv
The project was launched land degradation problem in sloping olive orchards by applying cheap and easy-to-apply options to conserve the land. It also created awareness among farmers about soil and water conservation techniques, and provided cheap credit for land management purposes. Major part of the SGP fund was used to provide loans to individual households for sustainable land management. The loan was interest free, and the maximum repay period was one year. Every household of Khaltan was eligible to make proposal for a loan. For investments where more than 10 households achieved tangible benefits in terms of more sustainable land management, grants will be available. There should be a contribution of at least 20% of the total cost from all the involved households (in cash or in kind).

Journalist Emma Beals speaks about Syria's war
Three years ago, a peaceful protest in southern Syria triggered a conflict that's reduced much of the country to rubble and forced millions out of their homes. The conflict started in March 2011, when anti government protesters took to the streets in Deraa. Dozens were killed in what was the start of a brutal security crackdown. Now, three years on - with more than 140,000 lives lost and millions more displaced, there is still no sign of an end to the civil war. Emma Beals is an independent journalist who’s been reporting from Syria since December 2012. She speaks to Al Jazeera about some of the towns she recently visited which have become battlefields.

How much Russia paid for operation in Syria
Vladimir Putin told how much money Russia had spent for operation in Syria. According to the President, it cost 33 billion roubles. As Putin said, “these are the resources of the Defence Ministry, that have been already included in the budget of the Ministry itself for the year 2015, aimed at the exercises conduct and combat training.” “The state has just redirected these resources to maintain the group in Syria,” the President said. According to Putin, “no one invented a more effective way of training, honing military skills than combat actions, and in this sense it's better to use, spend the fighting resource in action than on a training ground”. The Russian leader said that, now “extra expenditures will be needed connected with the replenishment of our arsenals, weaponry and equipment first of all to the specified parameters, as well as repair of equipment, which was used in Syria.” But, Putin believes that, “these expenditures are absolutely justified and essential.” Check more of our videos on our video channel http://www.youtube.com/user/PravdaTV Go to Pravda.Ru website to read articles that you can not read in Western publications http://english.pravda.ru/

Water Wars: Land snatched from Syria supplies third of Israel's H2O
Water is life, so they say, but rivalry over supplies can lead to bitter conflicts. You can see here that, since the mid-20th century, the planet's seen nearly 180 conflicts connected to water resources. These include both small and large-scale clashes - a lot of them in the Middle East and Africa. So, it might surprise you to hear that it's water - rather than oil - that could be what's fought over in the coming years in the region. Paula Slier reports now from Israel. Syria: Girl injured in Aleppo shelling returns to Syria following treatment in Russian hospital
A ten-year-old Syrian girl who lost her legs during a shelling in Aleppo on April, 2016, returned to Syria, to her relatives in Latakia, on Saturday, after undergoing treatment at a Russian hospital. The girl, Sidra Zaarur, and her mother, Mayada Hamra, departed from Moscow on a Russian military-transport aircraft and landed at the Hmeimim Air Base. Following their arrival they were taken to their relatives in Latakia. SOT, Mayada Hamra, Zaarur's mother (Arabic): "Our family is sincerely grateful to Russia for their help. Thanks to Russian doctors, my daughter feels like a healthy child today, she communicates and plays with her peers. At home she might've remained disabled for her whole life, because there are no such [medical] resources in Syrian hospitals today." Aleppo - The Industrial Capital of Syria
Documentary about the theft and destruction of the industrial districts of Aleppo by Sinan Saeed and Tom Duggan with Fares Shehabi (MP for Aleppo). Terrorists within Syria have looted and destroyed many religious shrines, churches and mosques but the wholesale theft of Syrian natural resources and industrial plant are on a scale unimaginable. We’ve probably all read about Islamic State terrorists smuggling oil stolen from fields in northern Iraq and eastern Syria through Turkey and then on to Europe and Israel via the grubby hands of Bilal Erdoğan, the Turkish president’s son. Less well known is the fact that terrorists inside Syria have stolen entire factories, machine tools and even power stations – literally unscrewed from the factory floor, lifted onto flatbed trucks and driven north only to be re-erected in Turkish cities. According to independent journalist Thierry Meyssan, Erdoğan did not hesitate to use the war against Syria to make money for himself: First of all by dismantling and pillaging the factories of Aleppo, then by trafficking the oil and antiques stolen by the jihadists. Progressively, his entire clan became linked with the jihadists. For example, his Prime Minister, mafia gangster Binali Yıldırım, organised factories for the confection of counterfeit goods in the territories administrated by Daesh. “Some 1,000 factories in the city of Aleppo have been plundered, and their stolen goods transferred to Turkey with the full knowledge and facilitation of the Turkish government,” the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in letters to the United Nations. “It is an illegal act of aggression that amounts to piracy. It is an act of aggression against the Syrian people’s livelihood,” the ministry added.

Miserable conditions in Syria displacement camp
(11 Mar 2019) The al-Hol displacement camp in north-eastern Syria, where some 65,000 people currently reside, is struggling with the number of people arriving each day, according to the camp administrator. Many of those living in the camps are relatives of Islamic State group militants who fled the last battles between the extremists and U.S.-backed forces in the area. Administrator Rojhat Maydani told the Associated Press the camp is receiving some 2,000 people a day, and they are struggling to accommodate everyone due to a shortage of tents and other resources. Maydani said the large volume of people has created an "emergency situation". "We have already mobilised all of our human, financial and security resources for the refugees but we are still really struggling and we are exhausted," he said. At least 100 people, mostly children, died en route to al-Hol or shortly after arriving due to a combination of malnutrition and hypothermia, according to the International Rescue Committee. Several refugees at al-Hol said they fled their homes out of fear of the Iran-backed militias fighting on the side of the Baghdad government. No School for Thousands of Syrian Refugee Children
More than half of the nearly 500,000 school-age Syrian children registered in Lebanon are not enrolled in formal education. Although Lebanon, which is hosting 1.1 million registered Syrian refugees, has allowed Syrian children to enroll for free in public schools, limited resources and Lebanese policies on residency and work for Syrians are keeping children out of the classroom.

Syria: 5 Underwater Crude Oil Pipelines Sabotaged
Oil Pipelines Sabotaged In Syria Five underwater pipelines carrying crude oil were sabotaged this weekend, the Syrian Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ministry said, as reported by state news agency SANA. The ministry said a leak from the pipelines was discovered on Saturday and divers carried out an inspection to find out that not one but five pipelines had been damaged. The damage done, however, must not have been extensive, because the ministry also said repairs have started immediately and the pipelines would return to normal operation in hours. A later statement by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Ali Ghanem, said that six pipelines had been vandalized. The network carries crude oil from the coast to tankers at the port of Banias. The port city houses one of Syria’s two refineries. The other is located in Homs, in central Syria. Last month U.S.-led forces blew upthree oil tankers in Syria in the latest push against the Syrian government which is fighting rebel groups in their last remaining stronghold in Syria, in Idlib...." https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Oil-Pipelines-Sabotaged-In-Syria.html# 1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. Syria: Displaced families return to Palmyra 2 years after SAA capture
Footage filmed on Saturday shows displaced families returning to their homes in the Syrian city of Palmyra, two years after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) gained control of the city from the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). Palmyra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, fell to IS in 2015. The Syrian government captured the city from IS in 2016 and then once again in 2017. Since then, authorities have carried out reconstruction efforts, aimed at providing basic services to the returning locals, including electricity, water resources and facilities that were destroyed by IS. Head of the Palmyra City Council Hani Da'as thanked Homs Governor for offering public services "to secure a good life for the locals who are coming back to the city." One of the residents said he was "very happy" to return to Palmyra after being away for "five years."
