This is incorrect. if (Request.Browser.Cookies) { //Cookies Enabled } else { //Cookies Disabled } Request.Browser.Cookies property is used to check, if the browser supports cookies. Most mordern browsers, support cookies. Irrespective of whether, the cookies are enabled or disabled, if the browser supports cookies, Request.Browser.Cookies always returns true. So use this property to check if the browser supports cookies and not to check if the cookies are enabled or disabled. if (Request.Browser.Cookies) { //Broswer supports cookies } else { //Broswer does not supports cookies } So, the next question is, how do we check, if cookies are enabled or disabled? 1. Write a Test Cookie 2. Redirect to the same page 3. Read the Test Cookie 4. If Cookies preseent - Cookies are enabled 5. Else - Cookies are disabled. To disable cookies in Internet Explorer(IE 9) 1. Click on Tools 2. Select Internet Options 3. Click on the Privacy tab 4. Click the Advanced button, under settings 5. Check Override automatics cookie handling check box 6. How to Clear Cache and Delete Cookies on Google Chrome?

02:38
This tutorial explains how to clear cache, delete cookies and browser history on Google Chrome. People generally mix between these 3 concepts, while they are completely different. I thought of sharing the concept along with sharing the method to delete them in Google chrome. Link to video - http://youtu.be/AlMldg1SpNY What are cookies – These are small text files, generally used by e commerce companies to track user preferences, so that they can show ads for product for which users have shown interest. Also it is a tool through which websites recognize their customers. If you fill up some information regarding you sign up in e commerce site and suddenly that link breaks, when you come back to it, you will notice that information already filled is there, this happens largely because of cookies. Most popular reason people delete cookies is because they don’t want websites to track their preferences. What is cache – These are temporary files on your hard disk, that get get created, so that website loading gets faster and next time when you visit a website, it loads from your computer system, unless some changes have happened during this period. Popular reason why people delete or clear cache is because – they are facing problems in loading the latest version of website or website with updated information. They may do so if they are facing problem in loading images. What is browser history – Every web page you visit is tracked by Google chrome and a history of various details of web browsing is maintained on server through your system. If you don’t want Google to track your browsing history then you can delete the same. Generally it is observed that if someone does not want his browsing history to be viewed by others, especially when using shared computer then people go to history and delete the web pages visited by them or they accidentally end up deleting the complete browsing history. This happens may be because they do not know that browsing history of individual web pages can also be deleted. This tutorial explains process to clear cache, delete cookies and browser history in Google chrome. Deleting your Browsing History - Internet Explorer 7

00:40
Just a short vid to show you how to delete your browsing history/temporary internet files quickly and easily. A slightly quicker way is to go to Tools and select the first option - 'Delete Browsing History'. Doing this at least once a week can keep your internet running smoothly. This was basically a test for my new Vista and rendering in WMV HD. I have black bars in the recording part of my video because i did not crop my video to 16:9 aspect ratio. It would have hidden the top and bottom of the video clip. Audio problems also, had to do Audio Swap. -Dr.Chaos

how to clear your web browsers history, cache and cookies PART 1 - THE VICAMP GROUP

18:59
Many browser related problems can be fixed by clearing your cache and/or cookies, but it's important to know how each impact your browser before you delete them. Getting started In computing, the” web browsing history” refers to the list of web pages a user has visited recently—and associated data such as page title and time of visit—which is recorded by web browser software as standard for a certain period of time. Web browser software does this in order to provide the user with a Back button and/or a History list, to go back to pages they have visited previously, rather than relying on the user to remember where they have been on the web. Your web browser's "Cache" is a place where information is stored which helps webpages load faster. "Cookies" are small pieces of information stored on your computer which save web site customization. Having a local copy of a web page makes for very quick loading on your next visit because your computer doesn't have to download from the Internet all of that same information again. If browser caching makes pages load faster, why would you ever want to clear your cache? A few reasons come to mind. Clear your cookies to fix - Sign-in problems (not being able to sign-in, not being able to stay signed-in) and error messages about setting user cookies. Keep in mind - Clearing your cookies will delete all web site information stored in your browser (passwords, sign-in information, site-specific preferences, etc). Clear your cache to fix - Pages that hang, freeze, don't finish loading, or contain old content and online applications (like games) that don't respond. Regardless of why you might want to do it, clearing your cache really easy to do in all the popular browsers in use today. In most browsers, you can clear the cache from History area in the (Tools) Settings or Options menu. The steps involved in clearing the browser cache depend entirely on what web browser you're using. Here some browser-specific tutorials: Internet Explorer Verified for version 11. 1. Select Tools | Internet Options. 2. Under "Browsing history," click Delete. 3. Select the following checkboxes: · Temporary Internet files and web site files · Cookies and web site data 4. Click Delete. 5. Click OK. 6. Close and restart your browser. Firefox Verified for version 29. 1. Select the Tools icon three horizontal bars | History. 2. Click Clear Recent History. 3. In the "Time range to clear" drop-down menu, select Everything. 4. Next to "Details," click the down arrow Firefox down arrow. 5. Select the following checkboxes: o Cookies o Cache o Active Logins 6. Click Clear Now. 7. Close and restart your browser. Safari 1. Select the Safari/Edit icon Safari Gear Icon| Reset Safari. 2. Select the following checkboxes: · Clear history · Remove all web site data 3. Click Reset. 4. Close and restart your browser. Chrome 1. Select the Tools icon Three horizontal lines| Settings. 2. Click Settings. 3. Click Show advance settings. 4. Under "Privacy," click Clear browsing data. 5. Select the following checkboxes: · Empty the cache · Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data 6. Click Clear browsing data. 7. Close and restart your browser.
