Thank you for the excellent interview. For me personally it couldn't have been more timely. Very motivating, interesting, insightful, with practical guidance. So many things ring the bell in me starting late, always knowing that I am an artist, not really painted before. Great!!
I think the "watch out" for those of us who say "yes" is that we need to be careful not to say yes to everything....We need to pick and choose those that we are really passionate about...I'm at a point where I'm saying "no" to 90% of offers...Great video!!!!
+Jennifer Gough Hi Jennifer, I hope you don't mind me messaging you, i'm David Pearce and i'm an artist but i'm finding it hard to find my niche. I'd love to do what you've done your such an inspiration. I wanted to be a concept artist, working on movies etc but i realise that this isn't going to be an option for me. you can see that by my website portfolio www.davidpearce-online.com but i'm finding myself gravitating to oils and coloured pencil lately. I've dabled in digital and i've realised that unless your working for a games company I'm going to need to go back to traditional media. I'm 42 years old and have a family to look after, any words of advice for someone like me who's dipped his toes in the water but haven't taken the plunge. Thank you Jennifer, I realise your busy so if you can spare a few words of advice i'd be extremely grateful.
